I'd cut the 2 Core Rager and the 2 Fel Reaver and add the 2nd Wolfrider, the 2nd bow, Leeroy and 1 owl ...
If you then cut the fairly lackluster Arcane Shots for Kill Command and 1 Tracking for the 2nd owl, you finally got a good deck, called: 'typical facehunter'
Honestly, I don't see these cards in a facehunter-build (and this is what you were trying here)
It is in the worst case a 4/4 for 4 mana. That is not bad, it is good, it passes the Vanilla Test. Chillwind Yeti is considered excellent because he surpasses the Vanilla Test by +1 health. Think before you complain too much. By adding his ability which can of course be build around in the deck or "forced" to be activitated with playing out your whole hand. Still i see it more as a bonus to a pretty solid body.
no... it doesn't pass this test: It's been a while since chillwind yeti was constructed viable, and even in the past he only was viable in Druid.
A 4/4 for 4 is just bad and only justifiable if he has an effect that can be reliably activated when he's played on curve (Dark Iron Dwarf), if he was 5/4 I would see a little more potential, but this would ridicule Lost Tallstrider... in Arena he is pickable, if not great
I feel like this card is aimed at the as-yet non-existent Hunter zoo deck. The aim being to empty your hand fast, keep board control and play this turn 4-5 (filling a similar niche to Doomguard, in that you try to empty your hand before you play it). You don't put cards you want to keep in your hand in zoo Hunter, as they'll have anti-synergy with Core Rager.
Of course, zoo Hunter may turn out to be a terrible, abysmal deck - but this card is about giving you the tools to make it, if you want; a zoo style deck is very different to the play-style of Hunter decks so far (i.e Super aggro or midrange).
Of course it passes the test. The stats of Chillwind Yeti are great, that it does not have a spot in constructed has nothing to do if he passes the Vanilla Test or not.
Chillwind passes it, sure, but that +1 health makes the cards worlds apart ... there is just so many 4 attack weapons and minions and 4 damage spells in constructed. A 4/4 for 4 while not really completely terrible just needs a more reliable upside than this!
i was ready to see a beast but with a different effect. this doesnt help beast decks at all only face hunters who go to top-deck mode after round 5-6. thank god it doesnt have charge at least lol. but i doubt that even face hunters will use it. they want something to inflict damage immediately cause they already have lost board control. so even if this guy manages to come on the board as a 7/7 the opponent will have a board to deal with it. i dont think this card will see play, if i were a face hunter i would prefer a charge minion with 4 damage over this. the sad news is that blizzard acknowledges face hunter as the "standard" hunter deck and they provide "support" to it. i would be happy to see a beast that would help the beast theme deck to get better now im just dissapointed

It's actually not good, because it's only useful if you get to topdeck mode. If you purposefully run a deck where you run out of cards super quickly, you're retarded anyways. Also BGH.
buffing even strong as heel shit facehunters? ...well done bliZZard... not
This card isn't even that good.. it's slow!
this card links Magma Rager and Core Hound so it now a middle tier bad card we need a hound rager bad 5 mana and a magma core bad 6 mana card then the collection of bad cards is complete

What you are saying has nothing to do if a minion passes the Vanilla Test or not. A 4 mana 4/4 passes the Vanilla test and can be considered good, stats wise. It has a solid body and solid attack in perfect balance to his mana cost.
I've argued against the statments that he is gargbage. He simply isn't. He is not great, just ordinary statwise, but his ability can be powerful in certain circumstances, where the ability can be considered beneficial to the player. So he is a statwise good ordinary Beast card ("Beast" matters) with the potential to be great in certain circumstances. I do not call such a card "unplayable", "garbadge" or "bad".
I think most people see this card wrong. This isn't a card for an aggro deck. Face Hunters need to keep some cards in their hands like some people have allready mentioned. (owl, hounds, kill command..) So they can't utilize the battlecry most of the time.
In opinion this card is a attempt to bring the mid-range beast hunter back in the game. (which is dead since they made Starving Buzzard unplayable) Will this card be sufficient to bring a mid-range beast hunter back? No I don't think so, unless we see more usefull beasts in this or the next addon but this card is definitely a nice addition to the hunter collection and may find some use in the future. (but I doubt that it will be used in the near future..)

I love it, when Dr. Boom was announced people were crying: "BGH!" "BGH!" but then it sees play in pretty much every single deck in the meta right now. I like this card and have been experimenting with Druid of the Fang in Druid, doesnt work out too well but when it does its awesome and your opponent will probably BGH it if they have BGH in hand, then you have an open window for Boom to come down without that threat. Could be the same for Core Rager or to soak up a silence instead of on Savannah Highmane or Sylvanas Windrunner. This is a card definitley geared towards midrange although i like the idea of a zoo hunter, and if you play it as a 4/4 you can still use Houndmaster or any of the other beast synergy cards that hunter has...

What is wrong with this statement is that your thinking is based on current and previous meta decks. There is no reason why "aggro" hunter cant just cut unleash,kc, arcane golem etc and re design the deck. If you put this card in a deck along with fel reaver, the beast and a solid curve from 1-3 with no spells you no longer have this problem. I dont think there is currently enough similar cards to do this but adding 1 more similar card would make it work REALLY REALLY well and by that i mean game breaking. The only reason fel reaver is not being used is because there is not enough similar cards to support it making it only good if you draw both fel reaver by turn 6 since bgh is a card.
Were already seeing a lot of decks swapping spells for minions after gvg since the overall minion power is even stronger now.Getting a 7/7 for 4 mana if you have already been playing minions on curve ends the game on the spot. Imagine you play minions on curve until turn 5 were you drop a fel reaver, at this point you have some small minions and a huge 1, fel reaver gets bgh leaving your opponent unable to clear the rest, next turn you play core rager + a 2 drop. If this scenario can happen in most game you will win the game by default (if no second bgh). This deck concept might work with the current card pool but im not sure.
Sure its not the best BGH target out there, but given that hunter doesn't otherwise run anything with 7 attack (Highmane why you so good?), at least now BGH isn't a dead card that just exists to die to explosive trap.

Pretty much every hunter i or my friends have run in to has Dr. Boom......

If this was a warlock card it would be really broken..
I don't think this card is really good cause when you have an epty hand you better top deck Leeroy Jenkins or Dr. Boom than this..

Left hand or right hand, you have to be specific those hunters are sneaky

War Golem passes the test for crying out loud.
