If this is true than it's a good card. Like a bigger more expensive version of Demonfire. Can be used as a buff or removal. I do hope Blizzard takes steps to improve Demon synergy to the point where it is much more viable.
As a removal is highly overpriced, but still good to have choice. As a buff this would be most massive buff in game. But still there's a problem, that demons aren't to much playable, so until we get something like next voidwalker to boost this theme this card will be unplayable as well.
Interesting, though kind off lame for an epic. Demonfire was underwhelming, but I guess pumping up the numbers makes it stupid powerful in Arena, so that explains the rarity bump.
The removal option is weak. 5 mana for 5 damage is very underwhelming when compared to Kill Command. But Warlock getting its own Blessing of Kings is actually really interesting. Buffing up a Doomguard for 5 points of extra damage with Charge is a rather scary prospect. It goes without saying that this will most likely see play in the Midrange Demonlock they seem to be pushing so hard for.
this is a lot better than bestial wrath, and though it may not have the same value than kill command damage wise, it has other uses; warlock has a 0 mana 4 dmge spell, it doesnt need a kill command. IMO, the damage is just a bonus, the main objective of this card is to buff a weak demon into a late game threat, and having the versatility of doing 5 damage is nothing but a plus in a disfavorable situation.
Like I commented in the news post, I don't see any reason to like this 5 mana Demonfire. Unless there's some more mid game demons we are getting that are good without atrocious drawbacks I don't see this fabled Midrange demon lock thing coming to fruition, even if that's what's intended.

Well, I like Demonfire... crafted two golden ones. I have a crummy Demon deck that Felheart will probably find room in maybe maybe not.
It's single card power, which I like. Power Overwhelming is better, but fatal to the garbage minion it's usually put on. PO can be permanent with Void Terror but I like simple one card buffs myself.
Damn Blizzard... trying to corrupt me with cool evil Warlock cards...
IMO, the damage is just a bonus, the main objective of this card is to buff a weak demon into a late game threat, and having the versatility of doing 5 damage is nothing but a plus in a disfavorable situation.
Would also work well with Infernos.
Or lets say a Voidcaller's deathrattle summons Lord Jaraxxus to the field. It would turn that 3/15 minion into a 8/20 minion. Add in a Faceless and the game got scary.
On one side of the equation, its a good strong buff and does five damage, which compared to other cards, its kind of meh I suppose. The thing is, outside of the buff, does warlock really need the extra damage enough to run this card? They already have demonfire, shadowbolt, soulfire, hellfire, siphon soul, and shadowflame to deal damage and remove things. Is another card that could arguably be worse than half the cards listed above needed in warlock and would it even fit?
This seems worth it to me in Demonlock decks, and maybe even zoo. Your going to play Doomguard one way or another, and this is basically another copy for your deck, provided you have enough demons in play to reliably target one of them. Doomguard on turn 5, come turn 6 if it lives this is a damn strong topdeck as it either makes your guard insanely big or kills a blocker. On turn 5 when you don't draw doomie this can easily turn your Flame Imp or Voidwalker into a surprise lethal that does not conflict with the Soulfire in your hand like Doomguard does.
I would say if only because this card CAN be dead it should be a 1 of, but it seems very strong to me.
Not the most amazing of cards, especially when seeing that Demonfire isn't used much already. On the flip side, the damage and buff are nothing to scoff at, being able to take out some very troublesome 5 health minions.
The main upside is that it's versatile, your not limited to only dealing damage, or only the buff. The ability to choose what will work best in certain situations adds some decent value.
Currently, demons don't have enough going for them to really make good use, but there will probably be a good place for it in the expansion meta.

EDIT: Are we sure this card is even legit? The front page says (Unconfirmed) and I just noticed that the gem that represents rarity is a much darker purple compared to every other epic quality gem. I figured with it being on the front page I just made the assumption it was but now I'm not sure.

I feel this card is weaker than Demonfire but I could be mistaken. Demonfire has the flexibility of being cheap while accomplishing the exact same thing, just on a smaller scale. This card just seems too expensive and it very much puts all of your eggs (or a lot of them anyway) in 1 basket.
It is comparable to Blessing of Kings but has the drawback of being a demon only buff. If used as a nuke, it's far inferior to Fireball or even Holy Fire, especially since it can't hit face.
I'd probably rank this one slightly below average but until I play with it first hand, it's hard to say. Ultimately though I feel this card lacks the ingenuity and creativity we've seen throughout the expansion, especially when it comes to the class cards.

Some new ammo for Demonlocks. I like it. A Voidwalker would turn into a 6/8 for 6 mana. Or turn a flame imp to 8/7 for 6 mana.
Im also expecting a new Legendary Warlock Demon card so that's one more possible demon to play with.
Might not see that much play because it's 5 mana.

NIce, i hope to see more cards like this to start making demonlocks viable!
it has no rarity symbol, and would be OP. Fake.
never mind its epic... sure is good, so much better than bane of doom.
still not as good as soulfire, but better than every other single target damage spell warlock has.

It's epic card. There s chinese version right below it. It's not really that op since it's 5 mana. It's just steroid version of Demonfire.
Extremely strong. I'm very happy to see that blizzard has not abandoned demons :) Now please reveal the dreadlod/mal'ganis card.

if Lord Jaraxxus gets summoned from Voidcaller, just slam this on him and he'll be a 8/20. makes any demon a threat on the board
^wizard.
i prefer handlock over zoo.
Blizzard: "We really want demons to be relevant, we really do."
I'm right with you blizzard, let's just... let's just hope we got more demons that don't have extreme setbacks to use this card on.
(Let's also pray that Mal'Ganis is solid with some kind of demon-minion synergy)
So why would people play this when they don't play demonfire, shadowbolt or blessing of kings already?
I do not know how to really feel about this card.
