This card could (barely) see some game in constructed, since it gives classes that can't heal a way to do so.
Also, it might fit in an aggro lock mech deck.
LOL This would never fit into a aggro lock deck..If you have to worry about healing yourself the lock already lost the game. Also your not gonna have 2 of these with your 2 Doomguards or 2 Argent Commanders,
Well, we still do not know what the other mechs do and which synergies they have. It could be a possibility.
Locks usually got themselves low on health due to their class skill, and this guy can help. Same for hunters, rogues, mages, etc.
People will say it's a shitty card until someone realizes how it works.
Yes, and totem themselves arent bad to recombobulate, as any 1 mana minion is generally better then a totem. Cantrip minions are also great targets.
3 mana 3/3 means you get Healing Touch for 2 mana, and only in 1 card. It's a good deal if your class can't heal and you really feel that's what you're missing in your control deck.
Also, regardless of how useful/played, finally there's a decent healing minion option. Priestess of Elune was really awful.
How many times vs aggro decks you stabilize to die because of reach (soulfire) or hunter's hero power, or savage roar combo. This cards lets you heal while developing the board which further helps stabilization. 2x Explosive Sheep and 2 of these boys can probably be enough tech to deal with aggro, leaving you with 26 cards to play around.
i like it...im hoping its not the only healing card we get (we need a shamn card that draws and heals you for every overlad you have!), but its a nice combo with recomcoculator in the late game, when shaman actually start gettin low on health...but yea...i only ONLY would see this in a shamn deck that tries to get to the lategame, not anywhere else
On a first glance i saw this and i said this could see some play. But then i realized that there is another anti aggro 5 drop in the current set and it´s called Sludge Belcher. And unlike this it doesn´t completely fail the vanilla test. I only see this card being good vs freeze mage but otherwise it´s pretty mediocre
It's a neutral healing card that has better value than most class specific healing cards, yet people are quick to say that it is completely garbage. We should be hesitant to say that any card is truly garbage before all of the cards are released and tested, let alone this one.
Guardian of Kings has almost the same reduction in stats for the mana, yet it only heals 6 health. And that isn't even a neutral card. So why are people so pessimistic? People just look at this and are like "Whoa, 3/3 for 5? Garbage!", without even evaluating why the stat reduction is there.
Maybe this is palatable if you have a Recombobulator ready.
This is an amazing point. Take the great effect, and nullify the stat problem by using Recombobulator. If it becomes Loatheb, Spectral Knight, or Sludge you've got a great turn 7 advantage.
Healing protects you from reach, taunts protect you and other minions from minions. They serve two different roles. And tbh, i don't think this card is a good turn 5 play, more like a turn 8 or 9.
It looks really good but you need to cut down some cards for more board clears since decks with snowballing minions(which will be more common than undertaker shenanigans) will overwhelm this fairly easy. I would cut some of the brewmasters for equality, pyromancer and even avenging wrath. =)
this could be usefull in shaman, but i don't know what can it replace, Azure Drake, Sludge Belcher and Loatheb are really good 5 drops and hard to take out of a shaman deck
Yep the only option i see this card is a 1 of in shaman deck vs some meta. Remember when the good old face hunter or agro mage made the shaman unplayable due to lack of heal? Some meta just make some archetype unplayable due to one strenght or another. This card be use as a tech card in some non healing class, kind of like the big game hunter or the black knight in some deck vs some meta.
Yes sludge belcher is infinitely better in a minion aggressive meta but in a direct damage meta he doesn't stop you of getting malyrogue down or double fireball down. I see this card as a tech card in very specific class that lack natural healing. True it is not a good card it is just an incredibly small niche card.
If you're considering using Recombobulator at all, you need to be very aware that you could transform any of your 5-drops into this guy, which is arguably a worst-case scenario without the battlecry. This makes me actually wonder which mana-slot would provide the highest chance for a good minion, now that we have so many poor-stat minions offset by battlecries in this xpac.
I'm getting slightly off-topic here considering the thread is about the Healbot, but in response to your post, I think the best slots for Recombobulator would suit a Sea Giants Shaman deck.
4 drop Defender of Argus guaranteed to become better than Argus stat-wise (with the exception of Twilight Drake).
I think the point of Recombob being discussed in this thread is to highlight that you turn the Healbot into something else, not the other way around (particularly because, like Argus, you are almost guaranteed to get better stats... the exception being Starving Buzzard).
Especially considering how this is a basically non existant body. Board control is in fact the most important thing in HS and a 3 health body dies to EVERYTHING it isn't even a bump in the road it will be easily uptraded resulting in an immense tempo loss which then eventually snowballs into loosing anways.
Thats how i see the card working out.
I don't know about you, but usually when i gain total board control around turn 6 or 7 i either die to hero power enrage timer or soulfire topdecks. That's my typical zoo / hunter losses.
I also don't understand why people keep calling this card a 5 slotter, when it's clearly a spell with a minion attached. You don't usually play spells on curve, so how's this contending with Sludge Belcher or Spectral Knight? I'm sorry but i really don't understand.
Not trying to convince anyone here eh, i know i will be playing at least 1 in shaman and possibly 1 in handlock. Double molten + sunfury + healbot sounds totally insane to me, plus you get a minion to shadowflame for 3 on the next turn.
I had the same idea.

shaman needs this
i prefer handlock over zoo.

My comments refer mostly to the wild format.

Why is everyone talking about the mech typing here like it's a big deal? You don't have to be running a mech deck to use mech cards...
This card could potentially be an enabler for some unexplored archetypes, ie: control rogue. Think outside the box for just one second.

Healadin is real...
Good vs. popular freeze mage.
Good vs. Alexstrasza play in general.
Good vs. miracle, because belchers always got sapped.
Beats closest neutral heal 2 fold in heal value per number of cards cost.
How can someone call it bad ?

If you aren't playing Paladin, you're doing it wrong.
It can be considered 2 mana 3/3 if you normally pay 3 for the healing touch, or 3 mana 3/3 if you consider the heal costing two mana.
You can't compare healing with taunt, as having 3 taunted Molten Giant has never saved me from two Kill Command, or Lava Burst + Lightning Bolt combo.
Healing protects you from reach, taunts protect you and other minions from minions. They serve two different roles. And tbh, i don't think this card is a good turn 5 play, more like a turn 8 or 9.

should make it a 5 3/5 and make it a shaman card.

It's not really a healing touch plus a 3/3. Healing touch is often used to heal up giant taunts, while this can only heal your face.
