Hours remains and we say goodbye to Year of The Mammoth, it was a great year for me personally in HS, Team 5 introduced so many new mechanics and a tribe as well as 2 new card types, i wanna do a poll about it and a few questions so we know how the community sees the mammoth year .
(ANSWERS ONLY WITH WHAT'S IN YEAR OF THE MAMMOTH)
Q1/ What is the most broken Legendary and a non-Legendary card?
Q2/ What was the weakest Legendary and a non-Legendary card?
Q3/ Your favorite and worst Quest/DK/Legendary Weapon?
Q4/ Which card that has a special place in your heart and the worst one for you to play against?
Q5/ Was it a good year for you?
I really hope they bring new tribe or card type, this game needs refreshment.
( I INTENDED TO PUT THIS THREAD IN THE GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD)
A1/ Most broken Legendary has to be Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Insane card, has been a staple in every deck. (except Zoolock). Most broken non-Legendary has to be Tar Creeper. While this card is insane in stats 3/5 for 3 mana (and elemental wtf?) However this card is still fine to have played against, it feels acceptable. But it is definitely strong, still.
A2/ Weakest Legendary, The Voraxx. What a piece of shit this is. Weakest card (not legendary) is probably Wicked Skeleton. So bad, so so bad.
A3/ My favorite Weapon, probably Candleshot. So innocent, yet so powerful vs. aggro. Favorite Quest is Fire Plume's Heart. A quest which promoted control warrior and gave them a powerful win-condition in the late-game. Favorite Death Knight is without a doubt Deathstalker Rexxar, which made Hunter one of the best classes in late 2018. Otherwise it was still a fantastic card, and was super-fun to play.
A4/ Worst to play against, is definitely Frost Lich Jaina. This card denies you to play minions, because they always find a way to target it and ping to get a Water Elemental. And if you play around that and don't play minions they throw out big threats on you so that you eventually run out of fuel. Really frustrating.
The card that will always be in my heart and be missed dearly is Tar Creeper. The elemental, the myth, the legend. The one to stop aggro with force.
1- most broken legendary in my book is Sunkeeper Tarim i realy dont know how they print this card buff your tokens and debuff your enemy minions is such a swing turn most broken non legendary was i think pre-nerf Corridor Creeper well turns out 0 mana 5/5 is really good
2- the weakest legendary was Moorabi freeze shaman LUL weakest non legendary idk actualy there is so many good canditates but im gonna go with Cryostasis as a shaman player this cards hurt my soul
Q1: Deathstalker Rexxar 100%! It was super broke and just (IMHO) the worst designed card ever printed. Any printed card should have some sort of counter or way to play around it, but Rexxar was essentially a tech card in an aggro deck that would allow you to out value control decks. It provided VERY specific answers that would make it impossible to play around certain combinations of beasts. Silence, heal, stealth, poisonous.... Worst card ever made!!! At least you could play around Frost Lich Jaina's ping ability, but Rexxar was just RNG game over... OK, sorry about that! Non-Legendary card is Carnivorous Cube EZ! Another terrible card!!!
Q2: Ehhh too many to choose from on both Legend and Non-Legend accounts. I'll pick The Darkness as I actually thought this would have been better than it was, but turned out to be basically useless. And Toothy Chest as I have never seen it in constructed play EVER!
Q3: Not really a fan of any of these. I thought that Quests/DKs/Weapons all kind of "forced" you into a certain deck mode, but forced to pick I'd say Jungle Giants. Not too OP and had lots of variations that were fun to play. Worst is obviously Rexxar if you couldn't tell!
Q4: Kalimos, Primal Lord as he was in my first 100% self-designed deck to Legend. It was in a meta where Shaman was garbage tier and this deck was insane and got me to Legend with around a 70% winrate.
Q5: I did fine playing, but this was one of the longest breaks from playing the game I've ever had. I cannot wait for DKs to be gone from the Meta!
1. Bloodreaver Gul'dan: Brings out the power of N'zoth in standard format and is even more broken than N'zoth (Glad someone mentioned it already). And non-legendary I think is Mossy Horror, this thing can change the game easily if the token-deck is being a thing, and I love token decks :( .
2. I can't tell, there are many garbage cards I don't like. Since this is not my favorite year, I'll skip this question. I'll answer the rest.
3. Weapon: Val'anyr, and Quest: Jungle Giants.
4. I agree with someone that says about Kalimos, Primal Lord. He is very awesome and I'll never forget him that he always made my homebrew deck with great winrate, even there's was a moment that I can't win, yet I did. The worst one is definitely Gul'dan's Hero Card still.
5. Actually I liked none of the expansion from year of the mammoth. I think Year of mammoth gives us the most game breaking expansions. I just hate OP cards, so that is natural to me. However, the only good expansion is Un'goro just because of the rotation. But I wouldn't count that as a good expansion. So I think it's the worst year ever (At least for me).
Q1/ Most broken non legendary is Probably GulDan, Non is righteous protector hands down.
Q2/ What was the weakest Legendary and a non-Legendary card?
Weakest Legendary for me was Moorabi, I wanted it to work and I tried it ad nausieum but alas that card is a PoS
Q3/ Your favorite and worst Quest/DK/Legendary Weapon?
Garrosh was my favourite from a design perspective, it was how all DK's should have been. it was an interesting effect and the hero power was more of a side choice rather than a completely busted upgrade. Has to be Deathstalker Rexxar, the ability to find any solution based off of that one piece of shit, my hatred for this card progressively grew.
My favourite Quest was Lakkari Sacrifice. the whole discard mechanic breathed life into the game for me and was always interesting, the game was never boring with infinite Imps that your opponents thought meant a free win for them.
The worst Quest for me was Fire Plumes Heart, I never enjoyed playing with or against it.
Q4/ Which card that has a special place in your heart and the worst one for you to play against?
Tar Creeper and Tar Creeper
Q5/ Was it a good year for you?
It was a turbulent year, I'm going to really miss it but I'm glad it's gone aswell

Jaina more annoying then Rexar DK? OMEGALUL. Its a control card ina control deck. REXXAR is a control card in aggro decks. No senseat all and makes it truly annoying cause u defeated his aggro approach then u die to his only control card Rexxar DK. Unless we play Jaina DK which is usually favoured vs rexxar. But i guess u are a Hunter (rofl) so u hate it.
Greetings hearthpwners.

3-favorites Fire Plume's Heart,Deathstalker Rexxar,Val'anyr and i hate The Caverns Below,Bloodreaver Gul'dan and Aluneth
4-the card is have special place in my heart is The Lich King and i hate Lesser Diamond Spellstone and all the res cards so much
5-the quality of cards was so much higher than any other year in the year of the mamoth but overal it was not bad we had worst metas (like now)
1/ Legendary: Shadowreaper Anduin hands down. Bullshit busted fucker.
Non-legendary: Carnivorous Cube I guess.
2/ Legendary: This is hard, considering some of the weapons were absolutely useless. But was Bolvar, Fireblood even a thing?
Non-legendary: Apart from the terrible pack-fillers, Dragonhatcher. This card was so bad it actually made me angry.
3/ Favorite Quest: Open the Waygate. Haven't played it much and I know it's hated by many but I've always loved the concept.
Least favorite quest: Unite the Murlocs. I hate the murloc archetype and I hate how they are pushing it on Shaman since the beginning of time.
Favorite DK: Hard one, but probably Frost Lich Jaina. So cool.
Least favorite DK: Shadowreaper Anduin. Fuck you, priest.
Favorite weapon: Kingsbane for life.
Least favorite weapon: The Runespear is not only the worst weapon but also one of the worst cards I've ever seen.
4/ My eternal love goes to Kingsbane.
When it comes to eternal hatred, Shadowreaper Anduin can eat shit. Also, pre-nerf The Caverns Below.
5/ Mammoth was amazing. Raven was shit.
job's done.
