I think this card's best attribute is that Underbelly can find it. It might still see some play, but as noted before, it isn't as if murlocs cost a lot anyway.
Nah, this is going to be just as good in standard as it is in wild.
Although quest, losing you turn 1 as a murloc deck hurts bad time. Plus, wild has more answers for the deck. Still, anyfin has great success so we shall see.
If Murloc Shaman becomes a thing, it's because midrange and control decks don't have anything to stop aggro on turns 1-4 any more. However, my guess is that other aggro/token decks (druid, paladin) will be better than shaman, so it won't even see play regardless of the above fact.
Definitely will try this in Wild as I still have a golden quest, heh.
Murlocs are already pretty cheap though. I guess this is a pretty hard 'soft taunt' on 4?
how about you use this wth the murlocs that aren't actually cheap instead?
Tastyfin, Warleader, Ghostlight Angler, Seer
This is crazy good for an instant refill lategame when you combine it with both Anglers, since you can just pam 1-mana 2/2s and get random murlocs in your hand. It's like playing Murloc quest without actually having to play Murloc Quest...so basically a functional deck.
I really, really hate that Murlocs are considered class identity for any class, but the fact that it's poor Shaman just makes me lose faith in humanity.

This would be cooler if I had higher cost Murlocs than Murloc Warleader and Nightmare Amalgam to choose from. As it stands, I don't think this compares to my Murloc Paladin deck using Call to Arms to fill the board.
As the current Standard shapes this card is not that good. We have to see how many murlocks will surface next expansions. However, in wild this card is meta defining.

In standard it’s simply great
Garbage Tier right up there with Mistcaller and it guarantees no top tier murlocs for the next two years. Blizzard really does hate Shaman.
Say it with me..... shaman Tier4ever....

Underbelly Angler found a new best friend.
Randomstone incoming! Hehe
.
Because you generally don't need that much value. That combo is simply a 'win more.'

This expansion seems to be the one where Murlocs finally stretch their MTG Goblin selves. A Must run if you are doing any murloc shaman deck.
Wow Corrupted Seer will finally see play.
Opened Hearthstone and my new daily quest was Murpocalypse. IT IS A SIGN!!!

honestly i dont think this is enough to push murloc shaman, they even lose icefishing and the quest
Murloc Shaman is looking ~juicy~
Oh, Lethal - where did you go? I miss you all the time.

I typically don't play murloc decks but this card seems to be an auto-include for them.
Negative synergy with Murloc Tinyfin.

Think Old Murk-Eye, Murloc Warleader
If I draw it I'll definitely add it to my wild murloc quest deck.
probably not gonna make a copy of it.
