This should have been an epic at best. Dragonoid Opperative was a rare and did basically the same thing. Chameleos allow you to continually "look" at their hand, so having it be a legendary makes sense. With a 3/2 stat line, this is a waste of a good Legendary.
it's stupid, man. People playing Big Priest not becouse it's awesome, it's very effective. And in Wild we already have awesome priest decks - steal, reno, Lyra, maligos a lot of other decks, but big priest more effective->more people playing it. And this card doesn't change broken turn 3 coin Barnes.
Dear Universe. I hope this will be a awesome expansion. I wanna see 2 things:
1. More "crazy" or uneven stats. Maybe 4 mana for a 8/2 with "can't be targeted by spells or hero powers"? Lich King could had been like 7/12 instead of the classic 8/8, 5/5,6/6 etc etc.

Epic, and "at best" ?
- Drakonid requires another card so his effect can activate, that's one of the most important things while considering a card's rarity.
- Drakonid let you discover a card in a deck, not in the hand, which is a really HUGE difference.
- Chameleos' issue was if you saw a good card, you either use it, or continue to see cards, you can't keep it, and he is a really terrible top deck, on top of that Lazul gives you a 3/2 on board and a card, Chameleos wont give you that body.
- Discover effects arent that unique, lots of cards with that mechanic, what really is unique is what you will discover.
- Priest can steal multiplecards from the enemy's deck, while the only non-legendary card that interacts with the enemy's hand is mind vision, which is a tempo loss, pure RNG, and you only see 1 card that you didn't choose, the opposite with lazul, you have a 2 mana 3/2 and for 1 mana you see 3 cards from the enemy's hand, and you pick the best one.
TL:DR Lazul is more flexible than Chameleos, she is a good top deck, doesnt require anything.

Comparing cards, even legendaries, to Drakonid Operative doesn't really say anything about that card. The operative was one of the most powerful cards ever printed, with an amazing effect, decent vanilla stats, and a useful tribe. Most legendary minions are worse than the operative.

"Basically" the same thing? How the fuck? One adds a card from your opponent's deck, the other lets you see three cards in your hand and put one into yours.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Tempo: 2/5 3 mana 3/2 provides little advantage on board, but is a body
Value: 4/5 this card value is dependent on the matchup entirely. Aggro is on average awful, midranged is ok, control is excellent and combo is decent. Gains knowledge of opponents hands to make up for the rest of value
This card is crazy good and will be a auto-include in every priest deck. It replaces itself with a card, puts a decent body on the board, gives you information of what's in your opponents hand, and it allows you to pick a card out of 3 choices that most benefits your current situation. Insane value!
I hope this doesn't meet the tragic destiny of Chameleos. I think it will, but maybe I am wrong.

The value of knowing your opponents hand is immense!! you can anticipate what your opponent is going to play in its next few turns, or you can check if he has a hard removal for your upcomming big minion...

Im getting tired of op priest cards every expansion...
I know right. Look at all the legendaries Priest has gotten over the last few expansions that see play ALL the time. I am so tired of seeing Lady in White or Zerek being played every single game.
As usual Priest cards are very promising. But the meta is prone to be constructed polarized between aggression and OTK once again (fanboys wishes). Since Priest has fallen to the OTk side, there is no reason to see this card as playable in ranked. Ergo: meme.
I absolutely love this. I play Chameleos in every Priest deck I build, but it can definitely be frustrating to see a key card in your opponent's hand, then have it transform into something less useful when you finally have the mana to play said card (particularly rough with DKs).
This gives you a much better chance of finding something useful because you don't have to have the mana for the card when you play it, and obviously you get three options. Against control decks, there's a good chance they'll have kept or mulliganned for a key late game card and playing this on curve gives you a pretty good chance to snag a copy before their hand size gets too big.
You smell that? That smelly smell? More support for Steal Priest, bois, just what I wanted.
[edit] A small comment regarding her playability - it kinda depends on the opponent you are facing, but overall I'm really impressed by her. If it's a value deck, you could steal its win-condition (Dr. Boom, Mad Genius) and get a huge advantage over the enemy. You will outvalue them. You can also get a copy of a removal (Twisting Nether, Brawl) OR you can copy a burst spell (if you are playing a combo deck and you are in the mirror). And as a bonus, Lazul acts like a small scout.
I will totally craft that legendary, if I don't get it from a pack.
It smells smelly.

Not bad, not great.
Warrior: Cornered Sentry
Shaman: Devolve Hex
Priest: Potion of Madness
Warlock: Treachery
Mage: Polymorph Potion of Polymorph
Neutral: Tinkmaster Overspark Weasel Tunneler Hungry Dragon The Beast Gravelsnout Knight Hungry Ettin Saronite Taskmaster
Big Priest is boring I agree but its more common from 15-10 from my experience and in wild. This won't affect wild meta that much
It's a bad card that can be useful in a few situations. Tier 4 at best.
In death, I exact my revenge!

Madame Lazul
Overall: 3/5 I expect play as a tech against control
Similar Cards: Curious Glimmerroot, Chameleos, Cloning Device
Tempo: 2/5 3 mana 3/2 provides little advantage on board, but is a body
Value: 4/5 this card value is dependent on the matchup entirely. Aggro is on average awful, midranged is ok, control is excellent and combo is decent. Gains knowledge of opponents hands to make up for the rest of value
Synergies: Princess Talanji
Decks: Control in a meta with slower games, otherwise poor against aggro
Camilios had the same promice and he isn't played a lot
This card let me started playing chameleos again
0/10 will never see play, hot trash, worst expansion ever, because it doesn't win you the game on the spot or beat aggro.

When will Priest stop dominating Tier 1!!??
Mmmmmmm.... Shadowy thoughts.
This card is really nothing like chameleos other than the "spying" aspect. It's a decent 3 drop that cycles itself.
Chameleos is way slower and way more inconsistent.
This is kind of just a solid early game staple in priest like glimmerroot was at one point.
