With today's update, we're now able to see the new Whizbang decks. And man, they look garbage.
Theres discardlock WITHOUT the quest, surrender to madness priest with only 3 minions under 2 mana, and a druid deck built entirely around Gonk, the Raptor.
Even worse, about half of the decks only got one or two rastakhan cards!
Why???
i said this the first time i see Whizbang and now i can said it again: Blizzard is not force to print tier 2 on the pre-built recipes only because Whizbang exist. Pre built decks are made only for show new cards and explote iterations without spend that much of your dust. That is also the goal of Whizbang, not make you ladder to legend without spend dust lol
If I want to play around with the viability of Gonk I would much rather do it with Wizzbang than actually crafting Gonk. This is 100% the sort of reason I would craft Wizzbang.
Honestly the only "bad" deck recipes are Shaman, Druid, and Priest. Everything else looks fine. Of course, there are definitely better decks and there are possible improvements to all of them but I wouldn't call them bad.
How do you play new cards with Whizbang? I’m on mobile and got the update, but the only new cards I’ve seen are totemic smash and rain of toads, and over played around 30 games.

I don't believe you can. Right now the theory is that players received those spells from Hagatha.
There's no reason why Hagatha should generate cards that aren't out yet. Whizbang lists or a game bug are actually the only way that could be possible, and guess what, there's a shaman list with those two new cards.
As if a majority of the current whizbang decks were good...
Spell hunter is (or was) quite viable even in the top half of the ranked ladder.
Last expansion it was balanced out by horrid decks like the Priest one. Now they are just bad with a couple of at best tier 3 decks from last time. If you want to try some new cards, it may be ok. But its not a way to gain ranks for anyone who has even a half way decent collection.

Discardlock WITHOUT quest is STRONGER than discardlock with quest. But yes, the priest and druid deck is quite awful.
But to go back to discardlock: it has been proven that the quest is useless garbage in any form of discardlock. It seems that 6 mana do nothing does not make the cut, especially when you also need to discard 6 cards; often far too much for this. So no, Discardlock without quest is far stronger. At least you have a useful turn 1.

That was before the new release with its discard the lowest card wording, and a card that returns 3 discarded cards to your hand. It still may not be viable, but its possible now that in the right deck it could work. I say this after being one of the people who crafted Lakkari Sacrifice after Un' Goro was released, and cursed the card, disenchanted it, opened it up in a free pack, and then dusted it again. I wont craft it again, but it may work after release.
Blizzard are sorry that the recipes aren't all tier 1 decks. You'll just have to go through the effort of copy/pasting deck codes instead of clicking a couple of buttons in-game if you want to netdeck your way to Legend instead.
If I wanted to hit legend on a budget I'd play zoolock.
I'm complaining because one of my only decent meme cards is getting worse.
loool discardlock without the quest actually sounds amazing, the quest just weighs you down anyways

Not that bad of decks. Sure, not what I had in mind, but playable. Besides, Golden Whizbang is amazing.

The decks look quite good to me, people wanted to play odd mage so they added an odd mage deck and more. What's with the complaints?
Personally I enjoy the new meme decks, but as it hasn't came out yet, it's a little dumb/early to judge anything.

warrior one is good

bad, maybe, but how do you know they arent fun :P
I think its fine. Im never going to make a Gonk deck so this gives me the oppurtunity to play decks I never would actually craft.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

Where are the decks?
If you go in game and then create a deck you will be able to see the recipes.

Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
Yeah. That mech hunter one is TERRIBLE.
