I really liked the idea of running Spirit of the Frog in a combo Maly deck, but then I quickly realized, you'd probably end up using your combo piece spells to cycle with Spirit of the Frog. With this card, you can cycle all those damage spells and then get them right back the next turn. Cool card! Not meta-defining powerful, but really solid. Definitely one of the better Loa cards.
I'm not so sure about this card. You won't be able to get your AOEs back until the late game because of overload. Getting Far Sight, Healing Rain, Earth shock, Hex back is pretty good though. Shenanigans with the coin. Fitting into even shaman is pretty cool, but there aren't really strong even spells other than Hex in standard.
This card might be to balanced and fair to see play right now.
Great art, flavor, and cool design. I wouldn't mind unpacking it and I do hope it sees some play maybe supporting a new kind of shaman deck.
4/6 for 5 is pretty fair in stats, so 4/6 for 6 with pseudo-drawing 1+ cards (I mean, unless you're up against it you aren't just going to drop it without it getting you at least one spell back) is pretty good. Anything more than 1 and you're at pre-nerf Ancient of Lore levels (for 1 less mana), which is fantastic. And while we've had other cards around or better than pre-nerf Ancient of Lore before (Curator, Ashmore, Fight Promotor, Wrathion) this is arguably the one that requires the least build around and should be the most consistent.
Considering that the new shaman discover-a-spell spell makes it very easy to cast at least 2 spells in a turn, getting 2 cards shouldn't be too hard at all. I could see a lot of decks running this. Hell, elemental shaman could run this; Earthen Might is a pretty good card to get an extra copy of (and cheap to play on the turn before, so 1 other spell and you're getting huge value off a 5 drop).
I guess it can be a good inclusion to Malygos shaman:
You can play Eureka! to summon Malygos + 2* Lightning Bolt + 2* Totemic Smash and if that isn't enough you can reload next turn with Krag'wa, the Frog. Usually the 30 damage combo will not be enough in slower match ups, where you actually have time to set up this follow up.
What do you guys think about that?
Eureka! would have 50% chance of pulling the Frog. Not a very good idea
You play 8 Mana for Tog, end turn; Your opponent plays Ransom to get his deck back + whatever 5 Mana stuff; You are now back to square one and playing Krag'wa does nothing since you didn't play a spell last turn.
This card just looks like value control shaman to me. It's perfectly viable, but not really much more.
Real talk, does this work with Zentimo, will it add three lightning bolts to your hand the following turn? Cause that would make Malygos more viable.
No for two reasons: (a) Zentimo just makes the one spell you cast target adjacent minions too (instead of turning that spell into three separate spells), and (b) Krag'wa only returns spells that you played.

A) Zentimo casts three instances of the same spell, hence the fact that you would overload for three if you played lightning bolt with the card. B) Dang, missed that part of the card text, shame shame.

I already thought Malygos Shaman was going to be strong in the new meta without this card ... yikes.
I love this card. Too bad is another removal fuel for shudder u.u
That damn card needs to be nerf into oblivion >:{

Definitely crazy with Unstable Evolution
What do you mean it says from last turn.
Infinite value with a Snowfury Giant, Spellstone, and Spirit Echo!
This doesn't eat people. The trailer deceived us!
Generally pretty meh, but there's a lot of potential for situational crazy value
Oh, Lethal - where did you go? I miss you all the time.
Not exciting but I'm sure more useful than we all think.

Just an all-around very good card.

Seems really good
I love this card's art, would be cool in the gold art you can see him swallowing the guy.

Yeah I just realized that after I posted.
You’d be joining the best class ;)
