I think most of the time you can call 'Deal 7 damage' basically the same as 'Destroy a minion.' It's not exactly that because there are SOME minions with more than 7 health, namely things like The Lich King and Ysera and Mountain Giant but i think we can ignore that for a moment for the sake of argument.
A 7 mana 7/4 with Battlecry: Destroy a minion would be VERY good. Book Wyrm, saw play in most Dragon Decks which weren't aggressive and I think its a good frame of reference for this card. Both are dragons with conditional dragon effects that remove a minion. So what do you get for paying 1 more?
You get a better effect (most of the time). I think there are a lot more minions with 7 or less health than there are with 3 or less Attack
You get 2 more stats (although you can argue they aren't as well distributed. They're certainly worse against aggro.)
So point being I think you'll probably like having this in your Dragon deck. You might like playing a Dragon package in Odd warrior even though you don't get to play War Master Voone because you get so much removal between this card and the Smolderthorn Lancer
Kind of opens the doors for things like Dragon Paladin, Dragon Mage even something like Dragon Hunter or Dragon Druid to an extent just because it's solid removal for classes that don't really have that otherwise.
It s like Blazecaller but for Dragons and deal 2 more damage to minions, though it can't go face and stats are a bit worse
The biggest difference is that its way easier to have a dragon in your hand than play an Elemental the turn before you Blazecaller. The biggest thing holding back Elementals is that the Elemental conditional is way more annoying to fulfill than any of the other tribal conditionals. This is most obvious with Arcanosaur which requires you to play a minion the turn before which not only would take damage from the Arcanosaur because its a symmetrical effect but also makes it SUPER OBVIOUS to your opponent that you are about to do a 3 damage AoE unless you've been playing Elementals every turn, in which case you REALLY don't want to Hellfire yourself.
I don't think there's a minion in the meta for 6 Mana that don't die to it in curve ... So 7 Mana 7/4 with assassinate, kinda ... Gotta be good, just gotta be good
Adore the flavour of the card! Looks fun and useful, but wonder if it's a tad too expensive to cast. 7 damage is good, but not quite good enough to take down major threats like The Lich King, Malygos(or any dragon legendary), Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound, or Ragnaros the Firelord. I'll still give it a crack if I open him. However, I'm not sure if I'll craft him.
I wonder if we are going to see the raise of another "dragon" deck to T1 position. It will be fun, i guess.
But from one card and one for warrior - hard to tell.

It's a good card. Similar to Blazecaller and Firelands Portal at 7 mana for dragon decks. The biggest drawback is the lack of being able to go face, which is very significant but this card is quite good nonetheless. 7 Damage is huge removal + a 7/4 body? Really good. Can almost single-handedly take down The Lich King and many other big threats, not to mention that it itself is a dragon, furthering dragon synergies. This card will definitely see play. Rating it Very Good.

Love it. Small body, but nice removal and threats if not taken care of.
Dragon Warrior is back on the menu boys!

they just keep printing absurd dragons right before all the other good dragon synergies rotate out
Formerly Sneeds. Twitch merge locked me out of my old account :(
Who cares Wild is way more fun then Standard.
Let's hope it's not the last dragon of the expansion

Kinda slow tbh.
Good for dragon version of CW . The deck always lacks good 7 drop since Dr.Boom left

It's like a good garlic burp. It's comes out strong, but if it lasts a turn or two it will show it's value
