I find it interesting that this is the first card to ever cast on draw and not draw in return. Sure - Otherwise, it'd mean first one to run out of cards instantly dies, but this new mechanic probably changes the view of many Mill players.
Really slow card. I don't know why Blizzard played it so safe with this one.
10 mana so it's pretty hard to kill it on your own turn which means your opponent can silence/transfrom it , Terrible stats , Symmetrical effect so you have to do something like making your opponent draw or you corrupted yourself as much as your opponent. The effect is useless against aggro/midrange and is not even 100% win against combo/control unless they are already close to or in fatigue already. In that case combo deck kills you most of the time since they've drawn their combo pieces by then and even control decks some times run Skulking Geist. If you want to counter fatigue control decks just play Rin, the First Disciple ( a lot easier to make work + extra value from the demons from seals + somewhat useful taunt against aggro ) or Mecha'thun ( unconditional victory in fatigue ). And if you use it before your opponent is close to fatigue the RNG effect can shove the thing to the bottom of their deck and to the top of yours which pretty much destroys you.
Some things I can think of is to use it with Seeping Oozeling ( what if you draw it before playing the Oozeling? ) or Prismatic Lens ( either inconsistent or hard deck building requirement ) or Explore Un'Goro ( Removing the corruption from your deck but making it pretty bad )...etc. But this effect just doesn't seem worth all that effort.
I think Blizzard could have easily made the effect only corrupt your opponent , or let Hakkar have some better stats and taunt. I don't think it would be too strong at all. Might still be unplayable. But like this it's just laughable. Would be really ( pleasantly ) surprised if this saw any competitive play. Will make a meme deck around it for sure if I get it in a pack though :)
I think this card is not bad. In mill druid, when our deck is empty, we can play this card + Innervate + Naturalize. Next turn, we draw and take 3+1 dame, shuffle 2 Corrupted Blood into deck, then play King Togwaggle and win because 2 Corrupted Blood will be infinite loop (?). The problem is the turn before we win, we really do nothing. Skulking geist is also a problem. However, pros of this combo is that we don't need twig or play Florist. In conclusion, I think this card is good tech card ịn mill druid. Depend on what we dealing with, we can choose Azalina combo or this card combo.
They can cheat it out too. It's honestly an awesome control tool. I think by the time you're playing this out, geist will have probably already been used too.
I'm a little confused as to why it's not a beast. It's a massive snake with hawk wings...
One question. The venom card doesn't say 'draw a card' on it. Is that implied or does it actually count as your draw for the turn?
I think this card will prove more playable as it looks currently. It can become quite valueable in fatigue decks (obviously as it can fasten up fatigue). Can ruin a deck's consistency due to this geometric progression of additional cards.

Believe in potential; the multiverse blesses some beings with extraordinary traits, with the potential to do—to be—great things.
Wait, how does the corrupted blood works? is it: Draw corrupted blood, take 3 damage, draw another card and then shuffle two more corrupted bloods? or is it: Draw corrupted blood, take 3 damage, shuffle two copies and then draw a card? If it is the second case, then it could be possible to die in one turn just by drawing corrupted blood after corrupted blood?
I am not sure but i think you draw Corrupted Blood take 3 damage add two more in your deck and that is all. And this is why i think Hakkar has more value than it seems.

Wait, do you not draw another card when drawing this? Does it take your draw?
You still get your draw. It has the same multi-word key word as Deck of Wonders, the spiders, or the bombs.
You know when a card is bad designed when:
1.- Requires the compelte text box to TRY to explain it's mechanics, and isn't clear
and
2.- Needs a whole magazin article to explain it's mechanic.
And this card fulfills both.
Dust it
Hey, it’s your card!
Expensive. Easy to remove. No immediate impact. (Not even taunt).
And a symmetrical effect?
I don't get it.
Hakkar, you deserve better,
The general consensus I get by reading this: Hakkar sucks. It really does. SO...
I'm featuring it on the first episode of Hearth Hoard, where we take bad but cool cards and design ways to make them more fun or playable!

Corrupted blood incident 2.0, incoming!
It is a good card for anti-combo deck. This card punish the player who want to draw many cards like Shudderwock Shaman.

It sucks, but mmm, that flavor.
Reasonably this card could have costed 7 or 8. I guess Blizz was afraid of all that combo potential? lol.

Tirion, 8 mana, do nothing, get silenced.
Sylvanas, 6 mana, do nothing, get silenced.
N'zoth, get pulled, do nothing.
Mind control, get countered, do nothing.
“Cast when drawn” has a clear definition, which has been restated multiple times in this thread.
True. My mistake on that so you draw Corrupted Blood take 3 damage, draw another card from your deck and then suffle two more bloods in it.
