I have always been a big fan of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. He was the first legendary I've ever crafted and prenerf Yogg decks were some of the most fun experiences I have ever had in Hearthstone. For those of you who don't know, Yogg was nerfed to stop casting spells after he is removed from the board or silences himself. At the beginning of the current standard rotation people were talking about the possibility of Yogg getting unnerfed because of him rotating to wild (including Brian Kibler, who mentioned it on omnislash), just like Blizzard has done with Molten Giant. To my disappointment, that discussion has (mostly?) died out, so that's why I'm bringing it up again. I would personally love it if Yogg would get some love. I still play him quite regularly, but very often he kills himself before doing anything significant (wether it's good for me or the opponent). There are a lot of broken and unfair things in wild, so I don't see how Yogg Saron being a bit more consistent but also much more fun would be problematic for the format. There are already a lot of busted things people can play, so I ask that us memers can also have fun our way by being able to enjoy more crazy moments with our lord and saviour!
For the sake of peace I'd like to see him un-nerfed just for Casual and TB matches, since the outcry from the few poor souls playing Wild Ranked would be far too big (whether justified or not) if T5 were to unchain the old god. That being said, praise Yogg!
If it's mean to be a more formalized system with eventual tournaments then unnerfing cards that needed to be nerfed would be a bad thing, including yogg. Unnerfed Yogg becomes a powerful competitive card.
If it's not really meant to be that formal then I could see unnerfing him.

That's actually a good idea, I wouldn't mind getting less wins in ranked if it means I'll have a total blast playing casual. I would still like to be able to play unnerfed Yogg in ranked ofcourse but I think only nerfing Yogg in casual first could be a good way to see how strong he actually would be.
Yeah, wild is full of bs, so let's add more bs, bc losing an almost won game due to pure RNG is fun. Just relax and watch yourself getting thrashed. Then: Go to the salt-thread and complain. Complain a lot.
Yes! We demand reparations for Blizzard's deicide!

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished

If you'd actually complain about losing a Casual/TB match due to Yogg then I'm lost for words. I would even go as far and say it wouldn't change anything if he would fully return to his former self. Wild Ranked is so full of bonkers stuff that you can't just rely on total RNG to win a match. It's just that it feels really bad to play a 10-mana card which regularly stops after max 3-5 spells due to whatever is causing his battlecry to end. Heck, even Deck of Wonders (coupled with Augmented Elekk) usually has more impact on a game than Yogg.
If you want to shit and barf all over yourself be my guest, but keep it to yourself without wasting other people's time. And that is exactly what yogg is. A masturbatory shit and barf fest that wastes other people's time.

Hearthstone is srs business. While it is perfectly fine to lose to unbeatable starting hands or relentless top-decking to several turns, people just can't handle losing to something that is officially random.

I agree, that is exactly why I also dislike the Yogg nerf. You spend all this time and effort casting as much spells as possible, only to have Yogg do almost nothing and kill himself.
Pre nerf yogg was the worst thing in hearthstone. If you're winning don't play it. If you're about to lose, play it to have a reasonable chance at an undeserved comeback. It plagued high ranks and disgraced the outcomes of competitive matches.

We still don't really know what wild should be.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,

Let's talk about Yogg baby.
Let's talk about RNG.
Let's talk about all the good things
and the bad things that may be.
Let's talk about Yogg.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

Honestly? Yes, wild has much more BS than yogg
Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!
