I wasn't going to create this thread as I was well aware of it would sound like whining but it was really hard to ignore when it happened 14 times in a row. I know you all think any low-life playing Giggling Inventor deserves this yet it's not isolated with that single card. I have a Paladin deck running Crystalsmith Kangor, Annoy-o-Module and Zilliax, and despite having one divine shield minion on the board among 5-6 other minions, the result never changed. It cost me Val'anyr more than many occasions too. Therefore, I made more tests with other classes by using minions like Argent Commander, Sunwalker, Corpsetaker, etc. The results yet to surprise me.
I haven't had to worry about MC tech because it's easy to play around it. Pay attention to what deck your opponent is playing, because the main decks that run MC tech are deathrattle hunters, shudderwock shamans, token druids and odd warriors. This might be difficult based on the deck you are playing, but paladin in general can rebuild boards quickly so you don't have to worry about your 3 minions being cleared.
As for with other decks that can't really play around MC tech a lot, I never really get completely polarized steals, so sorry to hear about your bad luck I guess.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.

Easy to play around it, but for Minion Based decks, playing around it can just lose you the game anyways.
For example Zoo, if Zoo plays around MC tech against Odd Warrior or Deathrattle Hunter for example, you are basically forfeiting your chances of winning because you won't be able to kill them before they out-value you, where as you are just better off playing into MC Tech and hoping he either doesn't have it or Low Rolls.
Kind of funny how that works, but that's Blizzard card design for ya.
Unless you have replays of the data, don't expect anyone to take your rigged rng theories seriously
I don't know how to save replays on my phone, sorry. But the idea behind this thread is to find out whether it is a common issue or it was an one time thing happened to me.

I've never noticed a pattern. If it were an actual thing going on, data collection agencies like Vicious Syndicate would have proof within hours. As such, it's likely just a mixture of confirmation boss and rng
Bait and switch - I thought there was going to be some sort of technical explanation, perhaps with excerpts of the server code, and some sort of theory for the alleged brouhaha.

Sorry to disappoint you, I'm not such dedicated player. Bait and switch? My sole intention was to share an odd, more curious than frustrating gaming night experience which didn't begin with sinister plans such "I will install a deck tracker on my phone (?) and show entire world the game is broken". It happened and I posted it here.

I would theorize that is was a stealth nerf to Giggling Inventor. They updated the RNG factors to favor DS minions, but alas TLTL, the gig was up and they had to nerf. [/tinfoil]

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
So the other day I was playing a Deathrattle Hunter deck against Taunt druid, and MCT'd his first Hadronox. Oh, that was a sweet feeling. I Immediately hit it with a Play Dead. Malfurion went bottom-right.

What degenerate plays Hadronox for the first time in a game and doesn't immediately Naturalize it? Lol well deserved then
MC tech reads the following: if you are playing it steal the shittiest minion available. If your opponent is playing then steal the best minion available 100% of the times.
MCT is such a fucking bullshit card, it's "random" but it happens to always steal the best minion you have. The only counter play is either always playing 3 minions or just living with the fact that no matter what you do, it will always steal the best minion, you can have 6 1/1s and then a lich king and guess what it will steal 100% of the times? 😊😊

I'd like to hear your experiences with the RNG
.
Let’s see some replays.

That's a really satisfying reply, thank you.

It's because the steals were divine. DIVINE! Get it!? ;)

it sould be testet more, because it seemd to alwas hit an anoy o tron. Did´t pay too much attention but it can be.
But that it always takes the best one is not correct. It seems to be random despite maybe realy taking divine shield more or even always.
It's not as you think.
In 3 days, i encountered MCT 6 times and he always kept the worst minion.
It's all about luck.
