Nothing is better than hit your Skelemancer with Spikeridged Steed Nothing worse than see it silenced, saped, vanished, polymorphed or hexed. Do you see a lot of Skelemancer ? Egg is somewhat even worse.
This being a mech give him a chance. If silenced and not destroyed the same turn, he can be used for a magnetic, and he can also coming back through the legendary spell.
Too expensive for an egg. Also hard to proc. The damn thing has 5 health. You will not be able to pressure anything except aggro with it. Control/combo won't care that you have a 1/8 mech on the board. If you start going overboard with buffs it gets silenced or polymorphed. Honestly like the 6 mana 2/2 whelp more than this card.

when has "weak to silence" ever been a strong enough argument by itself? Never.
Curves into Spikeridged Steed and is way less difficult to use than Skelemancer. Also deters then from playing Void Ripper. The Dino-bot has sick art.
How people here dont mention the best card to combo this with.... Tarim.

I feel eggs are better when not too expensive. Silence really wrecks this a bit too hard. Especially if you start stacking mechs...

Keep in mind that the current Meta has a massive amount of Spellbreakers in it.
