It's possible that treeants are now a tribe or hand druid is overwhelmingly powerful and needs this card to build a hand early. However, on its own merits, this is one of the worst cards ever printed.

Cause aggro might play it? and if you play control.. you need to consider your match ups?
the treants must cost 1, it's a more flexible force of nature, I like it, seems good in token druid, but, token druid needs more support currently, it's losing 2 very important buffs, and some 1 drops.
It looks like Druid is getting a full-hand direction in some of their cards.
Maybe this is why they removed Coldlight Oracle, because they wanted full hand druid to be top tier deck =O

That's an interesting card. It may make Handdruid playable, if there is another card that draws 2 in this set. It will prepare a strong turn 4 of either a Mountain Giant or the new Wispering Woods. If treants cost 2, it's very weak itself though.

Peter Whalen said during the stream that the treants are 2 mana 2/2. Just like Force of Nature treants.
Aside from the obvious synergy with the other revealed card today (which I'm not too optimistic about), this card can fill your hand the turn before playing a Twilight Drake or Mountain Giant for greater effect.
The card itself seems like a terrible waste of mana though. I'll have to wait and see what other synergy cards get revealed.

Underwhelming card as this doesn't do anything on par to what force of nature does ( you are actually paying 8 mana for the same thing with the only upside that you can play the tress on turns 3 and 4) Druid might be in the gutter this year.

Lol this is why developer told they are 2 mana. Devs are not stupid enough to greenlight such a bad card. They deliberately give druid bad cards. I am sure. They regret printing retarded cards like UI, Spreading Plague and even Branching Paths.
Mostly it seems this is just an obligatory treant card for this expansion.

At least you can play this on 2 and follow up with mountain giant. otherwise super fringe card.

works good with cards like living mana and the new druid epic spell.
