Dude even 5/5 was ok, the problem is 5 mana is not to much for an effect that we had. I think the best would be increase cost by (1) or reduce 5/5 to 4/4.

I would have been carefull by giving it 4 attack, the would not have been a direct nerf as Priest would not have any of their shadow word able to target it

The problem of corridor is not the power of attack or health, the problem is the cost and the effect. Priest has Potion's that change attack, Dragonfire Potion, aswell Dustbreaker, any of this options will be enough for killing corridor. So I don't think this is the reason only to shadow pain. I think blizzard has some plans in next expasion and probably will be announced in february.
I think the best nerf would be a 3/4 for the same cost, since well, beast 3 mana drop 3/4 is pretty okay and still managable to destroy with removal and so on.
I still think they should have nerfed it by making YOUR minions instead of ALL minions and left it as a 5/5. Now with this nerf it just won't be played anymore.
I think we could still see Corridor Creeper in some decks, probably in Dragon Priest. Here is why...You could have a minion heavy Dragon Priest so you get the discount pretty early. Then you've got cards to affect the attack (Cobalt Scalebane, Twilight Acolyte, Inner Fire), so you could do a 2-card combo once Corridor Creeper is down to 0 or 1 mana, and then still buff it up to a 3/5 (Twilight Acolyte) or a 5/5 (Cobalt Scalebane if that's the only other card on the board, or Inner Fire)
I could also see it in Evolve Shaman (which will probably come back strong due to the nerfs, although we are losing Evolve, but we got Unstable Evolution which will just require a little bit different set-up and play).
And I could see it used in some Paladin deck since they also have ways of boosting attack cheaply.
Furthermore, maybe they already have a card that will help support Corridor Creeper in the next set. To say it's unplayable is pretty short-sighted right now.

At what stat value do you think is the bare minimum for this card to still see play?
I feel like at even 3/5 it would still get play. That's how insane this card was.
Corridor Creeper is basically a neutral 3-drop that sometimes costs 0. 2/5 is average for a 3-drop, which makes it the correct statline.

At 3/5, it would still be a decent arena card, but I don't think you would play it in constructed decks.
At 4/5, it would still be broken.
