So when a dead minion is affected by this secret and it's health its in the negative that value adds onto the damage being dealt by the secret. KInda like spell damage. Gnosh took 8 damage from the secret after the haunted creeper was first sniped then acted on by the secret.

Is it also a bug that divine shield minions take damage equal to their health and the rest goes face? Trigger explosive rune with my tainted zealot and still got damaged for 5
