I think the issue with rarities is that the unidentified cards as a category are supposed to be common, but weapons *aren't* supposed to be common. So Unidentified Maul has a kind of identity conflict between these two incompatible categories, hence leading to the "4th paladin rare".
1 mana Lost in the Jungle or a hit with Vinecleaver makes it a 5/5 divine shield for 4 mana. 5/5 divine shield might already be borderline playable for 6 mana (probably not, but still looks okayish). If you can discount it properly, this card looks really good.
Could be decent in wild, but I still can't see Silver Dudes decks being a thing in standard until they have some new equivalent of Muster for Battle. Even Stand Against Darkness will be rotating soon.
It's clearly a very powerful card, and it will likely replace Loatheb and something else in Wild Dude Paladin lists. If Dude Paladin is viable in Standard at any point over the next 18ish months, this card will see play. Otherwise, it might suffer a fate similar to Dragon Consort - a narrowly powerful card that never sees play because the deck in which it would shine is never quite viable. I like the card, and mostly play Wild - about half a dozen different versions of MR Paladin are currently viable in the format, and it will be fun squeezing this into a number of different builds.
Everyone saying how it's not playable in standard because Silver Hand Paladin won't be a thing lmao, it doesn't matter, it's already fine at 6 mana, control Paladin struggles with tempo and value minions at lower costs and this helps a bit. Also, it can force your opponent to trade with all the 1/1's for sure, and if they don't, you probably get this for 3 or 4 mana. Also with Mages being uncommon now, probably get 9-10 dmg in with it against Druid/Rogue, and Priest might have to Death if they have no board, making it definitely worth for Tirion.
It's fairly costed at 6 mana, sure, even better when the cost is reduced. You could try it as a one off to see how it performs. Though my gut feeling still tells me that a Recruits deck won't be a thing in Standard, I might be wrong though.
This thing is just weak.. If it had taunt I could see some use for it since you could use it to protect a couple of dudes so you can play more and buff them the next turn. But as it stands you'll almost never get value out of it.
You spend several cards to get multiple dudes on the board, you probably want to buff them immediately instead of playing this, otherwise you have to spend multiple cards to get dudes on the board again before you can use your buffs.
I hope the final paladin card (epic) is a freaking board clear spell or battlecry minion for control purposes. All of these silver hand recruit cards are dead on arrival in Standard.
If you have a board full of dudes and you want taunt, you're supposed to play Level Up!
The dudes protect the lion so it can use the bubble for good trades instead of letting the opponent pop it with a 1/1.
I'm not saying it's great; Level Up! is a bit pricey. But I think this is what they had in mind.
It's pretty hard when they're only 1/1s and literally every single kind of board clear kills them
Don't mind me just passing by
Not a beast?
sweet art.Thats an interesting card, probably more in wild but it is gonna be interesting in controls too

No taunt, so it's not that good, just a tempo card in handbuff the dudes (and others) Paladin.

I think this could be playable.
more king of beasts than thing from below. Only good if recruit paladin is ok.
A 5/5 with Divine Shield is fairly costed at 6 mana so even having 1 dude out gives good value.

It would make more sense for it to be an elemental.
I don't know in Standard, but in Wild this archetype will sure get a nice boost with all the support from the new cards of K&C.
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

Think First, Then Act.
Probably the card that wild dudes paladin needs to be viable.
Pretty good, but not meta-defining we've had cards like this before they've always been useful but optional.

meh... boring but playable.
