Hey, are we sure that by "enchantments" it means buffs from spells only? Are we sure that this card doesn't keep buffs from cards like Southsea Squidface, Naga Corsair and Captain Greenskin? Sorry, but I don't know if this questions have been answered already.
I think it also keeps these buffs. But with a lot of pirates you have likely a more aggressive deck without much draw (consistency). And then we are back at how to re-draw the buffed blade.
It will be much better with a Forge of Souls for rogue. so far, rogue has none.
But can use doomerang to kill a minion and get weapon buffed in hand
I honestly don’t see it making the cut for a meta weapon, but it’s mere existence opens up the doors for some crazy decks.. and some possible broken interactions down the road

Yeah, it can. The thing is, most of the cards mentioned are not good on its own. That is just one more card that is generally underperforming with the weapons already. And if you don't have deadly poison for your kingsbane, are you throwing it for 1 damage? I just don't see the consistency.
This is card is unplayably bad. Quote me on this when I’m right. What deck does this fit into? Tempo Rogue? No, you have to run too many spells which ruins Keleseth, plus it is very slow for that deck. Miracle Rogue? Maybe? But it would just talk up to much space in your deck running so many sub optimal cards (plus once again, it is VERY slow). Mill Rogue? Yes, but Mill Rogue has been a meme, it gets crushed by Aggro, Tempo, Midrange, Priest (unless you mill raza/anduin), Jade and combo decks (unless you mill a combo piece). This card won’t see play, unless it gets a lot of overpowered support we haven’t seen. As it stands, with the current card pool, no serious play.
Ok first, obviously this card is strong. Possibly meta defining.
Second, we have yet another new word (keyword?) that has never been seen before, 'enchantment.' Is this paving the way for a sub-classification of spells in the future?
Third, what - exactly - does 'enchantments' include? If you buff the weapon through minions, does it remain when you draw it again?

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.

Well I don't think I can quote you because your reasons for saying this card is bad don't hold up so well in my opinion. I will give you, that this card doesn't have a place in the current meta and in the decks you mentioned. That doesn't mean the card is bad. Firstly we have to see how the new meta shakes out. It's entirely possible, perhaps even likely that the card doesn't have a place in the new meta. But I won't say the card is bad. I'll also say, that maybe we see a new rogue deck where this is actually very good.
Rogue weapon + two deadly poison + leeching poison + rogue hero + doomerang + doomerang = 4 overpowered weapons running through your deck.
I know this is a lot of cards and you do not need all of them but I think this might be the next Brocken meta deck.
not sure that doomrang will proc properly with this weapon, the weapon is thrown and comes back with normal stats (still supposition) but i guess it won't work as you entend. when you throw a normal weapon with deadly poison, deadly poison is not kept on your weapon. when you throw the weapon, does it triggers the death rattle ? nothing sure :)
It's good but not game-winning because it's a 1-mana weapon and Blizzard obviously tested this already. With Deadly Poison, it's a 3/3 weapon for 1-mana which is only ok in the late-game. With Envenom Weapon, it can destroy 3 minions but Rogue's health is a problem. 1-attack means Leeching Poison is useless, unless you're willing to play a weapon Rogue that revolves around a 1-mana legendary weapon.
Envenom Weapon + Blade Fury. Hell if you can also throw Deadly Poison and Leeching Poison, then you just got a pretty mean board clear (kills anything that doesn't have DS plus gives you life for every damage done), that also returns to your deck to use again later? I'm sure people will make it work.

I think it will work because it says it keeps enchantments meaning g when it gets destroyed it will still be buffed. And doomerang will trigger deathrattles, I know from experience, so I think it would work the same.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
People are overerestimating the deathrattle. In Wild the deathrattle will often do absolutely NOTHING, even with Tinker's Sharpsword Oil. BUT, and here's the big difference:
The card is so strong NOT because of it's deathrattle, but BECAUSE IT'S A FRICKING 1 mana 1/3 weapon.
But is it enough: I say NO! Not beause of the deathrattle, but because as aggro-oil rogue nowadays you WANT to finish off your game at turn 7-8 or even earlier. Later, you get crushed, and even this card doesn't change anything.
If doomerang does indeed turn out to multiply the weapon, will any buffs to one apply to all of them though? I imagine if you theoretically have 4 of them and one is deadly poison buffed, the other three won't be buffed.
I don't know if it will create a copy, it's a good question. It does seem like it should keep the enchantments though, which is still Pretty strong depending on what you got on it.

I think it would be legit in a miracle style deck. Cycle through your deck for the cheap weapon buff spells & just start pounding away at the opponent's face while you build up towards a double proc Eviscerate with Valeera and/or spammable Arcane Giants.

I see your logic but consider the fact that with leeching poison and tinkers sharpsword oil you now have a 1 manna 4/3 weapon with life link running through your deck that will just snowball Into a huge life link weapon. So it can help you manage health and provide a decent amount of damage.
One of the reasons control rogue can not work is because the weapon from hero power causes to much damage to your hero and they do not have heals but this weapon can have life link and a ton of attack so you can now manage health while using your minions to trade while hitting them face with the weapon, with a weapon that is never lost forever.

I wonder if I get two copies of this with Doomerang

Seems ok.

Kinda like a faster version of Val’anyr, the Paladin weapon. This is definitely infinite value for Mill Rogue.
