Yeah, Bonemare is better, target have charge and retain his abilities like deathrattle, divine shield etc
but this card cost 5, dont seems fair to compare with a 7 mana card
I voted for playable because you can make a trade and then full “heal” and improve that minion stats
In paladin or shaman on turn 7 you can always have a target for it making a 7 mana investment for 7/7 stats, and generate a “fair board.
Playing on curve with a firefly or other weak minion on board its above “fair”
I don't think the "healing" aspect of this card is a good thing. Essentially you have to remove a body (sometimes worth a card) from your board. And if you have to hero power, then it was a 7 mana play for 7/7 of stats.
Lets assume you have a chillwind yeti on board and trade on your turn 5 with a 3/4 3 drop. You now have a 4/2 yeti and play mossbinder to heal your yeti and get a 6/6 and a 1/1. But you removed the yeti so actually you have less power on board than if you would have played, for instance, a Cobalt Scalebane (1/1 and 6/6 vs. 7/2 and 5/5; and scalebane is the kind minion you have to replace with this card). If you eat a 2/3 minion, you still lost more stats than you gained compared to vanilla stats for a 5 drop ( Pit Fighter ). And the worst part of this card: If you have no minions at all on your turn 5 (which is possible), then it is a dead card.
In conclusion, I only find this card playable in the best case. In the worst case, it is worse than doing nothing on turn 5 (at least you don't lose a card). And on average I expect to lose too many stats from the board so that the slightly overstatted 6/6 for 5 is not met. In other words: Playing this card seems to be always a value loss (big or small, but you are removing a body from your side) and the tempo gain is probably not good enough if it is there at all.
Bonemare: 9/9 stats (4 charge) and taunt for 7 mana.
This: At best 6/6 stats (0 charge) for 5 mana.
Did Blizzard realize Bonemare was an oopsie?
Also, to those rightly saying how dumb it is that Blizzard is indirectly nerfing evolve by creating high-cost 1/1 pack fillers, remember that one of those pack fillers is the unplayable Paladin Legendary this expansion. So disappointing.
Potentially getting a 6/6 on turn 5 is good but this card has 2 massive problems that mean it won't see play. 1 is that you need to sacrifice one of your own minions to get the 6/6 and 2 is that if you come into turn 5 with this minion and no target you are completely screwed. Scalebane is vastly better in every way.
In addition Mossbinder doesn't even have Elemental synergy as it won't count as playing an elemental.
It's a really really bad card. At best. At very best. A big time racketeer. A card that never saw any play outside of a little bit of evolve experimentation that was quickly dropped. Most of the time it's going to be a lot worse then that. If a more mid to late game evolve shaman comes out (something I think is at least possible, especially in 4 months when the set rotates) then this card actually will get a lot better. But it'll still go from absolute trash to very bad.
5 mana 1/1 + 6/6 = 7/7 seems good on paper, but this doesn't count towards Elemental plays right? Would've been better if the body was more durable, like even a 2/2 or 1/3. Even when played with tokens, you're basically swapping around the swaps due to the 1/1.
First, does the transformed card retain its abilities? If not this is meh
Every previous transform card made it an entirely new minion, so I assume no.
Card seems decent because it allows you to trade up, or it sort of works like a mini Bonemare.
This card is nothing like Bonemare. Bonemare played on an existing Cobalt Scalebane gives you 9/9 taunt that can attack right away and gives another minion +3 attack every turn (and a 5/5 minion). Furbolg Mossbinder played on an existing Cobalt Scalebane gives you a 6/6 elemental that does nothing else and cannot attack until next turn (and a 1/1 minion).

Well of course you wouldn't play this on a Scalebane, that would be ridiculous, and to compare this to Bonemare in that way is willingly misunderstanding how you'd play this card. By that line of thinking, you could say this card is absolute garbage because, where Bonemare makes your Y'Shaarj a 14/14 and summon a minion from your deck, this card makes it a 6/6 and do nothing.
You obviously want to use this either to transform something small into a 6/6 (a la Bonemare) or use to "re-heal" after making a favorable trade.

5 mana 6/6. no downside. wtf? power creep?
I like it, will be playing this in my awful elemental mage deck.
It's cute in Arena
its ok, good in arena paladin for sure
5 mana 7/7

Pack filler meant to balance evolve and firewin portal rng. The game needs these kinds of cards so cant complain.
Shaman has plenty of ways to re-evolve a bad roll. You people are so ridiculous sometimes.

Might fit in some zoo decks. other than that seems like an arena card
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
This would have been pretty broken if the minion itself had like 3/4 stats. 1/1 is just too bad.
