well atleast one thing they are doing good job at. making evolve shaman worse.
That depends on the other new 5 drops. If there are high roll results for 5 mana like Hungry Ettin for 6, then the ratio of good and bad results stays the same.
It's cards like this that Unstable Evolution exists. But Shamans need card draw to make evolve Shaman work. Lack of card draw is one of the biggest reason Shaman and Hunters suffer.
At first I though this was just evolve shaman fodder. Now that I think about it though this could see play in elemental mage. You could turn a weaker minion into a 6/6 and then ping this card for a 3/6 water elemental. Not terrible depending on what you're transforming.
the nerf to evolve shaman is offset by the other new evolve as many times as you like card, and this might fit into evolve shaman. you always have 1 cost 0/2s on the board, so you can presumably use this to buff it to a 6 drop before you start evolving. Id say its better than dopplegangster and the double taunt guy when played on its own/on curve, due to all the small board clears in the game. it has the advantage to big time racketeer of being a 5 drop though, so it can be comboed with the hero card.
think it might actually see some play in evolve shaman, and elemental mage.
edit: just realized the card read friendly minion, which makes it useless against big priest. lol.
This card won't see play. Its an understated slow card that will generally, moderately buff a minion you already have on board. I could see it in evolve shaman actually. Good effect and then evolve the understated minion to a better 6 mana minion. But just bad.
so many people call this an evolve shaman nerve, but since unstable evolution targets only one minion (leaving the 6/6 token in play), shamans might end up running this after all.
It's an alleged nerf because you can evolve into Furbolg Mossbinder like you can evolve into Big-Time Racketeer . But I don't think it will be a nerf since there also will be good or overstatted 5 mana minions in K&C. Which should keep the ratio between good and bad evolves on about the same number.
So the reason that Bonemare is so OP is that 4/4 of the stats have charge in the case you have the board. So this is similar - but obviously only if you have a weak minion to start with. Good way to go into a Divine Spirit / Inner Fire combo, maybe? Or... windfury? I think you'd rather Blessing of Kings than this guy.
As someone else said I think missing the 'play an elemental last turn' triggers really kills this card - but I can see it in some OTK-ish decks, maybe?

It "eats" a minion, which makes it either 2 mana more expensive, will kill something bigger (which loses more stats and make the gainof Mossbinder smaller) or not playable at all with no minions on board. At best, this is a 5 mana 6/6. And that is not really viable.
i don't think you would ever play this in evolve shaman over Doppelgangster, so there is only Elemental Mage left, which also has a lot better cards to play than this. won't see play...

Auto include in elemental Mage? The 6/6 elemental would get Lifesteal and you can ping the 1/1 for an extra 3/6 elemental

Basically use this on a card like bomb squad. Good for getting around deathrattle drawbacks.
