I see good potential for this card in Arena, only you have to make sure your deck has some amount of synergy with it so that you don't just throw trash cards out of your deck when it dies. In constructed though, I'm noticing something a lot of other people might not: the combined potential this thing has with Ramp. I mean, if you're ramping well enough as a Druid, there's a good chance that you'll be on 8 mana while your opponent is at 4 or 5. As such, you can play this card in a state where the stats about match up to your opponent's, and you just get a ton more value off it when it dies unless it gets silenced. Not to mention the fact that if you draw Fandral Staghelm out of your deck from this card, it can set you up for some serious combo potential or just board presence (assuming your opponent can't remove it after Grizzled Guardian dies.) And even if they can, they're likely being forced to burn a hard removal card or something else strong to avoid the danger ahead.
Pulls Ooze or even Injured Blademaster (4/7) ... i guess this Card could see some play in Hadronox Decks. It will draw low Cost stuff from your Deck = reduce chance of drawing something weak
However, let's see what kind of 4 cost minions are available in the set. 3/5 taunt is Sen'jin Shieldmasta. It is not played, but also not an absolute crap card. For 3 mana it would be awesome so lets say the body of Grizzled Guardian is worth 3.5 mana. Then we pay 4.5 mana for two 4 drops (or less). That doesn't sound too bad. Deathrattle summon two Chillwind Yeti would be viable, I think. Deathrattle summon two 3/3 Mire Keeper not so much. But with wild Growth, Jade Blossom, wrath and the new spellstone it seems possible to not have any 3 drop (or less) so that the deathrattle could be acceptable. if Druid had Flamewreathed Faceless this card would have potential.

Nah, you're ignoring the fact that it's a Deathrattle(not battlecry) effect. Applying the same logic, Twilight Summoner is also a 4 mana 6/6, which sounds insane, but in practice the card is actually a lot worse than just playing a 4 mana with vanilla 6/6 of stats.
People should watch Pavel's video (linked below the card reveal). He discusses the card's great potential value for a Taunt Druid archetype, and points out that the mana cost is readily offset by Druid's great ramp options. I'm still not sold on Hadronox, but as Pavel mentions,N'Zoth, the Corruptor decks (with Infested Tauren) could be really strong. Looking forward to playing this, for sure!

No, I am not ignoring the fact. I am pretty much stating it. And while you can just ignore a 1/1 minion, this has taunt. You need to kill it. Plus, Druid can be at 8 mana very quick, it is also not such a big tempo loss for them to play it. But as I said, I think this card is bad. I just can see it working if it consistently pulls good 4 drops.
I don't think it's trash. Just doesn't have a home currently. Someone said they wouldn't play this if it drew 2 Piloted Shredders. I certainly would at that point!
I suspect that we will see some more support for this card revealed and that it'll end up being much better than you folks are giving it credit for. (as long as silence remains rare in the meta) For instance, I could easily see Blizz giving Druid a 4 mana Beast version of Piloted Shredder to try and help beast druid and push this card. Maybe a card that recruits beasts? Maybe one that recruits minions with 3 attack or less?
I think we shouldn't be too hasty to rate this one. Lets see how they support it first.
The only purpose I can think of is to thin out your deck, to make future card draws are better. But you could instead use Ultimate Infestation to draw a bunch of cards and just never play the ones that have no late-game impact.
Recruit as a deathrattle could be useful in Wild with Poison Seeds, but with the new card at 8 mana it's too expensive to combo in a single turn.
So I'm on the fence about Temporus but this card is awful. Slow, horrible stats, tempo killing and its deathrattle doesn't really add any impact. I mean 8 mana for, at best, 3 Sen'jin Shieldmasta? Total dust.
I would be very happy to pay 8 mana for 3 Tazdingos!
I agree, that this card doesnt look strong at first, but how many low cost minions does druid run?
It will be fun to try this card in a deck! I doubt it will be strong, but who knows?
Silence will crush this card. As for now there is no suitable deck for it, maybe druid will get few strong 3-4 drops?

I voted for meta defining. Because ist another step to the end of evolve shaman ;)
You guys do realize this is basically an 8 mana call of the wild right?
(With the potential to be better, since you could manipulate the effect to get 3 4 mana minions out of it)
Even in the worse case scenario where you get 2 2 drops, the value still evens out.
Card will be insane in arena, in constructed it may not be played purely because there's still better stuff to play on turn 8 as a druid.
Edit: disregard everything i just said. I thought it was a battlecry effect and not deathrattle. Card is garbage.
First impression is: Bad card because too slow.

This card is good for one thing: Highlight videos that show either perfect high-roll or total fail...
Could be cool with Quest Druid after you complete the quest, but other than that seems like total crap

Do you remember sweet old times when priests played Hero Power first before Forbidden Shaping? When random 8-drop was a thing...
Hello Grizzled Guardian, a brother of Tortollan Primalist!
I'm still waiting for good beast cards, the weapon didn't deliver and nor does this :(
No surprise. Given domination of Druids over past several months, Blizzard will not be showing the love to Druid in this expansion.
I think people underestimate this card, that said, it sucks, so who cares.
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
