Well...this is certainly interesting. No doubt there's good 8-cost minions this thing can pull, such as Grommash Hellscream and The Lich King, but I'm still curious to see where it would fall in a Deathrattle-style deck or just a deck in general. Anyone could combine it with Charged Devilsaur for an OTK attempt, Control Warrior could use it to pull one of the aforementioned cards or pull Rotface, Hunter might get some use out of it with Play Dead or Terrorscale Stalker something like that but I wouldn't really be able to think of anything other than Giant Sand Worm or The Lich King that they would want to pull. If Seeping Oozeling manages to get the card's Deathrattle, it would be pretty dope, but that's RNG. Shamans could run it for the Evolve value and/or to pull Al'Akir the Windlord, but Stone Sentinel, Jade Chieftain and Blazecaller have all worked better as 7-drops in Evolve Shaman decks. In addition, the only instant trigger with Shaman you could get on it would be Reincarnate, and that can only be done in Wild. Speaking of Wild, Ragnaros, the Firelord will be a popular pull target off this thing there, and we'll have to see how that changes things. But anyways, Paladin could try to pull Ragnaros, Lightlord or Tirion Fordring with it, Mage could try to pull Anomalus and Druid could try to pull Ironbark Protector or Primordial Drake as a defensive wall (as anyone could with Primordial Drake.) Warlock has good triggers for the card, such as Sanguine Reveler and Ravenous Pterrordax, but not many good options to pull outside of The Lich King or Primordial Drake.
With all that in mind, though, I'm still rather doubtful about this card. There's a lot of 8 drops that need Battlecries to work like Kalimos, Primal Lord, Medivh, the Guardian and Marin, the Fox that would have their power lowered by this card, and the other options I just listed off previously wouldn't have very many good trigger options to immediately jump out when they needed to. That being said, this card is very slow, doesn't offer much value on board, is useless if Silenced and is a wasted slot against pretty much any Aggro deck. So unless some of the new cards help to buff this thing up, I'm not sure it's going to see play.
This is possibly the worst card in the lifetime of HS, 7 mana 3/3 is the worst stats a minion has EVER had, and the deathrattle is too weak, you need to have good 8 mana minions, you have to not draw them, it's not a battlecry, which means this card does nothing the turn you play it unless you already have Spiritsinger Umbra, and you get Alakir, or Charged Devilsaur (I beilive the only 8 mana chargers in the game/in constructed).
This card is absolutely terrible and will never see play, in no meta, in no expansion, NEVER, absolutely the worst card to ever be printed imo.
You understand if was Battlecry instead deathrattle this card will be the new Dr.7 right? Auto-include in all decks.
Who don't wil want to play Tirion, Ragnaros, Lich King for 7 manas and a free 3/3?
Dissagree, even as a battlecry this would not see play. This is not a free 3/3 that apears on your hand magically on turn 7. this actually realy clunkes your starting hand/manacurve for 1 mana which is basically coin/inervate with the restriction not to play it pre turn 7.
c'mon, battlecry would be absurdly gamebreakingly OP.
this card is probably not great but a) the meta could well be slowing down if they keep pace w/ the anti-aggro tools revealed thus far. b) this is obviously something you build around to abuse the effect. complaining about the stats is a little like looking at barnes and going "vanilla 4 mana for 4/3. meh." c) we haven't seen all the revealed cards yet, already there is possibly interesting synergy w/ revealed hunter cards. they're laying a lot of groundwork for new archetypes.
Do not think this will see any play, it's bad for similar reasons that Skelemancer is bad. You can't delay that long before maybe getting something sweet. Bonemare is good because it directly impacts the board and half of it has charge. However this doesn't.
Way too slow and inconsistent. Could be powerful, I guess, if you copy the deathrattle with the new Hunter card, Seeping Oozeling and are able to hit that right on curve, but even then... meh. You'd still have a 7 mana 3/3 deathrattle minion in your deck.
Too often your opponent would just silence your 3/3, or they dictate the trade into it and then have an answer for the 8 cost minion it summons.

Not true at all. Coin/Innervate still requires that you have a card to play them with. This is far more valuable. It deck thins and allows you to pay the price of an 8 mana minion on T7 instead with an additional 3/3 body but with the cost of having to gain the 8 mana minion later instead of on T7.
Skelemancer seemed cool before you actually got to play with it - anti-AE, cheap for the stats, but it turned out it was crap, even in decks that ran spikeridge steed...so no, this won't see play.
I see Silver Vanguard as a some value play on t8. You are trading it getting 8 cost minion and playing another 8 mana minion, 16 mana for the turn. But this works when you are already winning. If oponent has a board he can just trade on t7 and use a removal, or he can just Bonemare and go face.
So if Silver Vanguard could cost 6 mana, it could be playable. For the 7 mana - strongly no, it will not fit any deck. Even for arena it will be quite mediocre draft.

"Minions servants soldiers of the cold dark obey the call of kel'thuzad!"
I give this card a giant "Meh".
Reminds me of big time racketeer but probably better because a card you include in your deck is better than vanilla stats.
edit: the effect is a deathrattle - probably not good enough.

combine this with cube and fill your deck with a bunch of 8 drops... then you can do a lot of work... Probably not going to be playable though.

Hunter or Big Priest

Well, they can't always be great cards! :-P
A 3/3 body is worth 2 mana, so you are "saving" 3 mana, at the risk of silence, drawing this after your 8 mana minions are gone...
Not worth it.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
this is pretty bad.... Bad tempo. And also needs you to have 8 cost minions still in your deck to be recruited.
Why do people think this would be even remotely OK to print if the effect was a battlecry... It would be completely OP then.

Get shadow madness'd, son!
Quite similiar toSkelemancer
