Did we learn nothing from Tol'vir Stoneshaper? As good as this sounds on paper, and I agree it seems better than Stoneshaper, it just won't have enough impact more often than not. I'd like to be optimistic about this for Control Pally and such, but I'm very skeptical.

"The quickest way to 'think outside the box' is to realize the truth: the only real box is the one you create by limiting your thoughts."
Man, this card is strong. In Arena it has a ton of value, and works well in both the early game as a high-value minion (if there aren't any others on board) and late game as a last-ditch defensive wall when you have no other minions. It works well in almost any Midrange deck, and something tells me Paladin decks that use buff cards could get a lot of power out of this guy. Maybe it's just because it seems like the card is a Paladin card even though it's neutral, but I still get the feeling...
It's kinda weird to get some cards featuring art of characters with Paladin-themed armors being neutral but I guess the point is to have them feeling like they are adventurers so whatever.
To all those saying this card isn't good because it's bad late game.....what 3 drop is good in the late game???
Zola the Gorgon? Brann Bronzebeard? The druid jade spell?
Both of those are merely vanilla minions on an empty board.
And this is vanilla on a not empty board, and a poor drop at turn 10 even if you trigger his efect.
what the fuck is your point? or are you just arguing for the sake of arguing? Brann and Zola are not good topdecks if you need to come back (because you need to have other shit to go with it). My point is that "this card isn't good in the late game" is a poor reason to evaluate a 3-drop as bad because most 3-drops aren't cards you want to be drawing in the late game. Do you currently not run Tar Creeper because it's weak in the late game? In what world are you praying for a 3-drop when you're behind on board and it's turn 9?

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
If you listen carful you can hear a pirat warrior cry. The noise is coming deep under the sea from a already sunken ship.
Or it's just Ben Brode. We will never know...

Amazing card for control archetype. Will it take the place of Tar Creeper already?
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Indirect Bolvar buff.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

This may be powerful enough for a Midrange to control Paladin. Certainly for new F2P player, this is not a minion you would be disappointed to play.
Great for Paladin, with synergies with Bolvar, Fireblood and Corpsetaker
Very good turn 2+coin.
Make the day.

Anyway, it's a cool card to keep aggro in check.
This minion does not have divine shield. Corpsetaker reads 'Gain taunt if your deck has a taunt minion'. This isn't a taunt minion.

This is IMO best clever designed card in this set a at this moment. Hope we will see more like this, especially w/o rng BS.
More handbuff Paladin cards!!
Can this act as a potential activator of the Warrior quest?
