The point of it is the value you get from whatever they spend killing your minion. Stuff they won't spend on shadowstep. Its not that reliable of a bounce for exploiting battlecry and you don't use it for that purpose.
The upside of this card over Shadowstep is that the body stays on the field and has to be dealt with before it returns to your hand. Perfect for cards like Emperor Thaurissan or even deathrattles. Of course, it works with battlecries too but I think this will be fantastic with cards like Aya that benefit from both a second battlecry and deathrattle.

Good point.
THe downside is that unless you have an otherwise empty board your opponent can play around it by killing something else first.

Yeah and I guess that will be pretty obvious with Aya now that I think of it. Probably better used on a value play like Emperor or Gadgetzan. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) it can't work with Keleseth since it's 2 mana.
wont be much of a secret if its the only good rogue secret in constructed
True. That's my only annoyance with the card. The two secrets shown are quite different so they probably won't see play in the same kind of decks. This means you really have to make sure your opponent can't play around it.
My guess is it won't work. There have been some strange interactions with Sherazin in the past because of the fact that the Deathrattle transforms Sherazin rather than giving you a new minion. For example: a stolen Play Dead on Sherazin will kill your Sherazin and give you a seed rather than simply giving you a seed. I could definitely be wrong but I assume that whatever is stopping Play Dead from working with Sherazin will stop this secret from working with Sherazin.

All these shadowstep effects. Possible tell for shadowstep being sent to wild.
This card is meant for greatness
Sure, don't kill the Viles or Bonemares anymore or you will regret.
Don't forget rogue getting secret sinergy in Wild with mad scientist, like the class need more insane tempo plays.
I find this card to be good
Paladin Quest sucks..
This is Meta-Defining! Rogues have secrets now. This is a whole new can of worms being opened up here.
Mmm
Quest Rogue comeback?
