Simple little poll to see what everyone thinks the strongest DK card is in the game. My vote goes to Jaina. Seems no matter what point she hits the board it can turn around almost any game.
Yeah rexxar is lacking as a hunter class card for sure. I feel Paladin is Soooo gimmicky as well. They are both really really fun to play but super gimmicky.
It honestly depends on the mode, if it's arena I would say Jaina if it is constructed I would say Anduin. However DeathKnights are leaving arena so I'm going to personally say that Anduin is the strongest DeathKnight followed up by Jaina/Guldan. If Raza the Chained wasn't in Standard I think Jaina/Guldan would be on top. But that's just my opinion.
I mean it's gotta be Priest, right? For standard constructed right now anyways. Although I'd be really curious if it stays that way after the next rotation.
Anduin, obviously (as much as I loathe that cancer). Nothing swings t8 around faster than destroying your board and gunning you down with a hero power. When Raza the Chained leaves standard, I think Gul'dan and Jaina will be the best (fingers crossed we get some fun demons and elementals in K&C).
Rexxar is great but hard to manage since he doesn't have enough control-oriented support currently. Rexxar's battlecry doesn't have enough of an immediate presence either. By t6, the battlecry usually doesn't have a huge effect. He would be better if he summoned something, like a random Zombeast.
In terms of potential Jaina wins just because as you said, she can turn a game around just with her effect. In terms of actualy game play though Priest and Druid fight for that. Malfurian fits in any druid deck with no support necessary. Anduin fits in most. His battlecry alone swings games. His hero ower gave rise to Razakus priest. Gul'Dan is 3rd because bringing back a board of demons is insane as long as your opponent has no board clear.
If we talk about strongest presence right now, well Anduin and Malfurion, otherwise in terms of potential i think Thrall could be really a strong DK with the right support. Also Gul'dan only need another good/powerful demon to be beyond broken imo
As of now, Anduin is the strongest Dk in constructed, but only because of Raza. So on his own he's not that great.
Jaina and Gul'dan are also very powerful on their own, but both of them are truly powerful with synergies (Gul'dan requires good demons to be effective, Jaina is better with Elementals) and too slow in my opinion.
I'd go with Malfurion if we had to judge a card alone. He's pretty much auto-include in every Druid deck simply because he works the same everywhere (except if you're aggro) and is super flexible, whether you want to gain health or press for damage.
I agree that Priest DK is powerful with the Raza support. However, the DK itself is still above average/good as it is another AoE removal tool against other Control/Fatigue decks.
Big Priest is already using Priest DK in both Standard and Wild.
Im certain that Priest DK will continue its use even after Raza leaves Standard next April. Big Priest, and other new Control Priest archetypes will use Priest DK as the late removal tool and late-game finisher. Remember that Priest class was known to never have a game finisher until this DK came, and it has always been critical Priest problem in the past 3 years.
Unless there is another powerful legendary card for Priest in the future or the meta becomes crazily aggressive like the Face Hunter / PW days, the DK will remain a staple for this class in Standard.
In terms of current decks, of course it's Anduin, however when Raza rotates out he will be one of the worst. The worst DK by far at the moment is Deathstalker Rexxar, playing him actually lowers your win rate.
Priest, but honestly I think the battle cry of the card is worse than the hero power. Most of the DK's have an element of risk taking the time to sink that much mana in.
The board clear of all big minions rarely affects the priest and stops the opponent from being able to overwhelm the priest before they can pull off a 28 damage combo.
Deathstalker is inconsistent, but powerful. People tend to see either and say it is trash or OP. Truth is it has the power to carry you to victory when otherwise impossible, but sometimes it fails brutally.
Anduin is abusable, but you need something else to abuse it.
On its own, i vote for Bloodreaver. HUGE impact and an impending doom for the following turns.

What do you all think?
Rexxar it's just not got the right support to be in Hunter. Had it been in any other class it would've been so much better.

Priest - Because it creates cancerous T0 deck..

Easily Warlock, if we're only evaluating the card itself.

Very hard to say.

Anduin is not the strongest DK on it's own that's for sure.
Gul'dan is the strongest DK and it can only get better with each released expansion.

Yeah Razza makes Shadowreaper what he is. Without him he's a glorified board clear in the late game.
yes the thread says card. But I feel it's more objective then that.

In a vacuum, mage is strongest by far. Problem is, mage isn't great right now.
