Way too situational for its cost. You can have 4- cost spells that are situational but when you pay 5+ you want something reliable that works in every scenario where you're behind. You wont be able to set it up properly when you don't have anything on the board, which you probably wont have if you need to play this.
People who says this card is a BIG pile of doody poopy don't understand crap about shit in this game. This card is even more broken than Call of the Wild was and it costs 1 mana less!!! This card forces your opponent to always pay attention to it's board and with the short attention spans people have makes this card impossible to play around.
You're right. This card probably is way too expensive. I wouldn't compare it to Twisting Nether, though. With that card, you're paying the price of losing your minions a well. Here, you aren't. Still, I think the card is still not in the realm of seeing play unless other cards come out that can help it.
Decent in isolation, probably garbage in Hunter. I'd compare it to Twisting Nether, a much better card that is rarely more than a 1-of for controlling Warlock decks. It's probably pretty good in Arena though.
1-2 mana less i could see it but not at current value its DUSTY WALLS. Cause honestly myself ill be dusting these whenever they show up at the moment. Unless theres something to help it.
Not that hard to play around though - roughly play your minions in order "Strong Strong Weak" so that usually one strong one will survive regardless of what your opponent has. With more than 3 it becomes even easier.
I do not understand the obsession that Blizzard has for Control Hunter (as they have for Discolock).
As a class, Hunter has no basic access to any of the tools that Control needs: card draw, healing, board clears. Instead of addressing that, Blizz releases a handful of half-arsed Control-ish cards every expansion, instead of focusing on giving Hunter more diversity in its core strengths: Aggro/Zoo/Midrange. That's 3 viable archetypes worth exploring.
The result being that Control Hunter remains useless and the other potential archetypes languish.
This partcicular card is pretty useless in the current meta where for 7 mana it will remove things like Voidwalker, Swashburglar, Patches, a 1/1 Murloc, a 1/5 plant, etc.

What obsession, there's nothing that makes control Hunter viable. Each class should be able to play a control type of game, other card games have that.
To costly probably not going to see much play like explosive shot. if cards like explosive shot and similar ones were 2 mana lower (except grievous bite) I could see a more viable control hunter
Unless there is a card that allow hunters to easily cast high cost spells I don’t see any point of this card. You’d have better luck clearing more than 2 minions with Unleash the Hounds
Way too slow and reactive for a fast and proactive class. 100 dust

counter to Bonemare ! but I wish this was 5 mana

The animation is awesome, so not completely junk.
Release the Kraken!

destroy 2 1 drops for 7 mana... seems good that´s the removal hunter needed

I really hope that after the spell is cast two walls with spikes animate on your opponents side of the board and smashes their two minions that die.
Many cool interesting mechanics are way to expansive.
Golden Heroes:
Warlock
Druid

and all your own minions... it's a decent card when the opponent has 2 minions on board.
Add "destroy also most left and right minion in oponent hand" and it will be good
Right now, I'd say this is probably too expensive. Its sad when you compare this to Brawl.
Ironically, we are getting toward a point where Hunter's best cards cost too much for the class for them to matter.
