It would be a good card, if it were not for the fact that Hunter is a 1 Dimensional aggressive class that will never benefit from adding this card. As I predicted Blizzard will attempt to push Control Hunter.
I'm a little surprised at the lack of creative thinking on here. You guys know that if someone has a board with a 1/1, an 8/8, and a 2/3 in that order, all you have to do is trade one of the small minions and you immediately have a cleared opponent board with this spell, right?
Also, we have no clue what other cards are coming in this expansion, so to assume this card is already useless based solely on past control hunter performance and not following the increasing trend of hunter cards geared toward control and slower games is short-sighted. For all we know, this card could define the meta, or it could be another Fatespinner.
We've seen precisely 4 cards and the "experts" are already weighing in. Maybe we can talk about how "bad" quest rogue was and how it "underperformed" so badly that it merited a targeted nerf.

it is still bad bro you are simply saying that you can trade minions until you get the minion you want to destroy but what if there is no minion worth to destroy with this spell ? Like highlander priest the best card you can destroy with this is a fkn 5/5 raza and it costs too much you cannot use it against slightly early curved decks.
If you have a board already, than this card becomes better, because you can play around THEM playing around your positioning abilities. But then again, if you have a meaningful board already, you probably have better options to play.
Because this is 7 mana, you have almost nothing of note that you can do after you play it; with 10 mana total, a 3-mana card isn't going to do a lot if it's all you can do after clearing your opponent's board (best case scenario), and then your opponent has initiative again. So if you don't have a board, or a very weak one, you're spending your entire turn just to maintain the poor state you're in.
I don't like this card much. I would rather see other control options for hard removal / healing (controllable) than this. I would play it at 5 mana. Maybe 6. Not 7.
Interesting, especially since we're getting cards that depend on card placement. With Recruit, we may see situations where there are a lot cards on board. Seems slightly expensive though. 6-mana? (Although the thing with the 6-mana slot is Highmane is really good.)

I don't think a deck that has until April/May of 2018 before it rotates to wild is a fair assessment of this card's viability when we still have 120+ cards to see. we don't know how viable any of the current meta decks will be in December, nor how they will or won't adapt to the new cards that will change how everyone plays their decks. Presenting an extremely specific example of an entire deck vs a single card that might be part of a hypotetical deck that we don't know anything about yet doesn't seem like a truly way to decide that a card - this card - is bad.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
The question is, how does this interact with 1 minion on board, does it kill it?! Is it even playable? Maybe a 1 off in the rumored control hunter at least its removal but pretty expensive and atm we live in times of board spam and this is heavy overshot.
Tbh,i like the idea :control-ish for hunter,no rng, position exploit but overcosted and can easily play around (especially pala and shaman) make this card unplayable
I vote playable but dont think will see it in meta
This wont work in midrange hunter. There will be a new archtype hunter with this. Btw its contra with Explosive Shot that make an opponent think twice to put their minions.
This card will work with dk hunter that give you unlimited resources. So the decks theme: gonna be destroy opponent resources while you build your own resources. yeah control hunter is real
I'm glad that they aren't giving up on control hunter. If you keep giving a class with a hero power that doesn't effect the board below average control spells that can be easily played around then control will eventually become the most played version of the deck. All they have to do is keep on releasing the control cards and big minions and wait till the cards that are keeping that pesky midrange deck between tier 2 and tier 3 fall out of rotation. But seriously, whats with this dedication to control hunter, I think the best bet would give the class a raza effect so you can either trying controlling the game while putting the enemy on a timer or play for insane value later with build a beast if you want it to be control so badly.
Almost forgot to mention how this along with grievous bite and explosive shot works in the same deck. Now with the 2 and 5 damage of grievous bite and explosive shot my opponents won't know where to place their lich kings, giants, water eles...
I mean, Hunter really needs a board clear, but this is not a board clear........easily played around too. At 6 maybe (cost of 2 deadly shots) but at 7 it's too expensive.

Interesting if pull out with Lock and Load

I don't get it, why this is not 6 manas like double death shot or mage Meteor?
Oh look,a new useless hunter epic

can you say useless?
The positioning tactics to play around this is exactly opposite as what you would do to play around explosive shot.
Unfortunately both still overcosted, but interesting nonetheless.

This is a purely control card, and given today's dipshit huntard metagame, it just won't work.

Even bad cards like Grim Necromancer counter this card as it is in the middle of two 1/1s.
Yay! another hunter epic that wont ever see play.
Another terrible half-ass board clear for hunter. Too easy to play around, and too expensive. When will hunter get a real board clear?
