is it worth it disenchanting fandral , malfurion dk and two golden ultimate infestations to craft prophet velen as its the only card missing from my razakus priest

are you serious? :D druid and priest are the best decks atm so definitly not DE the 4 core cards of druid, just pick 4 other cards :)

Not even close to being worth it. Velen could easily go back down to trash tier after Raza rotates out whereas Druid DK, Fandral and UI will still be extremely powerful and in every Druid deck (granted, Fandral rotates out).

nope thats why im heavilyy considering it ive gotten sick of jade druid but i dont know if i should do it cause kazakus is rotating out soon and i think jade druid has a higher winrate than razkus priest?

Nope. Velen has been awful up to recently, and will be bad again once Raza rotates out.

I'm playing raza-kaza without velen and its fine. Don't dust those cards! ^^

1. Those are core cards for a tier 1 deck
2. Even if you're tired of Jade Druid, those are good cards for other druid decks
3. Velen will be trash in 6 months
4. It's Reno Priest
5. Yes even in std
6. You might get bored of priest as well

Except for when you have more than 2 copies, of course.

The answer for the f2p player is not to dust already decent cards just to craft some ludicrously expensive meta deck, trust me. The only winner when dusting cards to craft others is blizzard. Unless you are one of those "I only play priest" players the idea is crazy. Be patient and craft raza in a few weeks time.

Velen is a Classic Card and thus has infinite value, doesn't matter what happens in 6 months. He will always be in your arsenal, unless Blizzard introduces new classic card rules.

However, as many have said now, don't disenchant core legendaries.

And I go even one step further, don't disenchant any legendary - EVER. Even trash like Nat Pagle. Why? Because you won't ever get the same legendary twice if you have it already. Disenchanting a Nat Pagle will only lead to you getting him again at one point, worst case as your next pity timer legendary. Which could have been Velen!

The golden Ultimate Infestations are fair game though, if you absolutely don't want to play Druid anymore. Golden cards in general are a "reasonable" disenchant, asssuming you didn't craft them in the first place.

My personal opinion is no.

If you got bored with Druid, you will get bored even faster of Machine Gun Priest.

I have both decks and I don't like any of them anymore.

Definitely not!  I believe the next expansion coming within the next 2 months will weaken machine gun priest considerably.  Druid DK will still be strong on its own.  I think the reason Blizzard didn't bother nerfing priest in the recent patch is because they already have a solution to it in the form of new cards coming sooner than you think.
