Okay this is fucking weird. I mean coincidence, obviously but fucking weird. I literally as I was going to sleep last night was thinking of how a card named after one my favorite Rogue mechanics would work in Hearthstone, Roll the Bones. This is creepily close to what I can up with as well.
This reminds me of the Yu-gi-oh! episode where Yami Yugi fights Weevil on top of a train, and he keeps drawing monster cards to insta-kill Weevil... "Duuraawww, monsta cardoo!!!"
2 mana draw a card is almost playable (Shiv). Here with even 50% chance of drawing another card (doable in a DR deck), it's quite good.
Remember the math people: with 50% of DR minions in your deck, you'll draw on average 2 cards (50% chance of drawing exactly one card, 25% chance of drawing exactly 2 cards, 12.5% chance of drawing 3 cards, ...)
If you don't know why your math is wrong, please don't make "math" comments.
Have a nice day.
It seems a decent approximation. The fact that you must have drawn this and the deck size limit aren't accounted for, but, close enough for government work unless I'm missing something?
You guys all miss the point. It recast itself if hits the deathrattle. So Auctioneers, questing adventurers, vancleefs and everything else will be happy to see this working.
What does it have to do with them, you only play the card once, spell is cast multiple times. But you got me thinking, you can make a 50 attack mana addict or red mana wyrm. And the yogg. Oh. OH!
This card is great. I'm pretty sure there's something to do with it. I just don't really like the rng that comes with it, even if you "control" part of this rng when you deckbuild.
Does not trigger Mana addict or Red Mana Wyrm btw.
Would rather play novice engineer and at least end up with a 1/1 body. 70 Percent of the time this will draw one card.
I suppose the upside is that it can be used with prep and auctioneer.
I think you're missing the point. This is supposed to be used as the main draw engine in a deathrattle heavy deck.
Yeah but even in a deathrattle heavy deck it's still going to draw one card more times than not. Surely your deck won't consist of like 60 percent DR minions? I can see exactly what they are aiming for but unless they have some awesome neutral deathrattle minions that we have not seen yet then I do not think this is going to be played over the likes of shiv.
Its a hit or miss card that you have to build your deck to accommodate. Sometimes the card will draw 1 and sometimes it will draw 3 depending on how you build your deck. A big problem that minion heavy Rogue decks have is that they lack card draw and this card makes it so that if you build your deck deathrattle heavy you will have card draw. I agree with you Rogue is lacking in quality class or neutral deathrattles for this card, but that doesn't make it a bad card. Its a well designed card that requires you to build a deck that takes advantage of its effect. It may not be this expansion or the next one, but with enough quality deathrattles this card will see play in those decks since it will be better than using cards like shiv or auctioneer for draw.
Wait a minute, I can make a turn 2 kill with a coined mana addict, one of this card and 28 deathrattles? :P
That seems totally possible, and AMAZING. (Even if you'll lose games 97% of the time you don't draw your 1x of each and get the coin) ((note for math geeks: I totally just made that percentage up!))

No, because my guess is it works similarly to Yogg, in that YOU aren't actually casting the spell again, the spell itself is.
Grumble grumble. As I read it 'cast it again' is '(you) cast it again' IF they wanted it to cast itself why not word it something like, 'It is cast again.' Are those 2 extra letters too hard to fit?

Ok, a card, I get it.
My magic will tear you apart!

Jade Rogue (to the extent it is a deck) plays 2xMistress of Mixtures, 2xJade Swarmer Aya Blackpaw, and occasionally Bloodmage Thalnos. That obviously does not seem like enough to play this card over or even with Mimic Pod.

Isn't this card bat-shit broken in wild N'zoth rogue? 2 mana, fill your hand.

I'd say Team 5 have adjusted the balance of their efforts: more new mechanics, less new art.
Yeah I'll probably run a n'zoth free all deathrattle deck and this card because, dumbness.
