Voting playable solely because N'Zoth Control Pally is already borderline competitive so this might theoretically make the cut there. Still waiting on that Jade counter though or else I have some doubt about ANY control deck seeing play next exp.
They finally used that artwork... it's been the most commonly used spellartwork in the fan creation forum I feel. RIP. With good deathrattles decent, but might be too combo dependent to see real play, unless there are good divine shield / taunt / deathreattle minions released. Pretty good with N'Zoth tho.
I am not going to pretend like I think this is good, but i will put it right into my shitty Galvadon deck, SO POWA.
uhmm at some point i'd have considered this better than Ancestral spirit because of the massive amount of value taunts that Paladin had over shamman ( Tirion, wickerflame, among others) but in n'goro they kinda equalized since those qare the two classes that run stonehill defender and with KFT Shamman also gets the 2/7 freezing taunt, so.... Ancestral Spirit is better just by virtue of what it can reviv,e it doesn't see play in standard but makes its way into the best control deck of the game (Wild N'zoth shamman), so this will probably make Wild N'zoth Paladin into an evn more annoying deck, because Tirion+2stonehilll+2 desperate defense+N'zoth=10 Tirions (throughout the game, N'zoth would revive 5)......
It's definitely not like there aren't situations where this would be good but I'm just not very taken with this card. Might be experiemented with, might even find a home in some kind of Divine Shield deck or whatever but just not a design that's particularily interesting to me.
plus you get back the desperate resistance card so you can cast it on him again and keep him alive forever until he's either silenced or double killed by your opponent
This fits good in a Nzoth Paladin. If it hits a Tirion that doesn't get transformed it means at least 2x Tirions with Nzoth among the other various strong deathrattle minions.
Yes, it's a worse Ancestral Spirit, but the classes are so different so you can't compare them.
Paladin has so many good targets for the card, that it's really fair to revive the target at 1 health. (so many Divine shields, Primalfin Champion, Steward of Darkshire's revived minions).
Good card, and I am going to hate seeing it in arena, as Paladins are strong as it is now.
Steward of Darkshire doesn't even actually work with this. Judging by the wording (see, Redemption), the minion is damaged at 1 Health (unless 1 was its base Health). Steward only works with minions with a base Health of 1.
That actually sucks a lot because now you cant do anything with this except pop it on an already Shielded minion
Even though the effect is worse than ancestral spirit, I actually feel that this is a better card. The reasoning behind this is that the auto-revive on a minion is far more effective in paladin than it is in shaman. Every Divine Shield minion is a solid target, Tirion is an obvious target and Ragnaros the Lightlord is pretty good. I mean, trading Rag into a big threat, having him die and then revive with 1 health and if you can swing it to where he's the only thing damaged, will bring himself back to full.
That being said, I'm still not certain this will see play but I do think that if it finds it's way into constructed, it will see play more than Ancestral Spirit.

Tirion Fordring, Redemption , Getaway Kodo and Desperate Resistance creates a disgusting amount of Tirions while also breaking the flavor
Oh. He got away.
No. He got back up!
Wait. He got ressurected. What? 3 of him?

What's the opposite of power creep?
"Resummon this minion"
"Revive this minion..."
"Return it to life"
How many different ways can they word the same effect?
n'zoth paladin, or more accurately "tirion paladin" might play this
Vvreeeew.
For the love of Tirion
the hallmark of the 40 dust pack

I don't think you ever run two copies of this tho it's more of a one of one trick pony. Having two seems slow and clunky with dead draws.
Great card, I like it.

this basically says 2 mana : play this on tirion and profit
Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
Below average card but might find some use.

what the deference between Revive and Resummon ?
