3/1 3/2 3/3 all patron then defile (3/1 doesn't have to be and only a 1 health minion) 3/1 3/2 3/3 3/3 3/1 3/2 3/2 3/3 3/3 3/3 3/1 3/1 3/2 3/2 3/2 3/2 3/3 3/1 3/1 3/1 3/1 3/2 3/1 3/3 3/2 3/3 3/1 3/2 3/3 restart
Um if my calculation and rules of patron plus whirlwind effects is correct this is an infinite. please someone show me where I went wrong
If I remember correctly the patrons will stop spawning new patrons when the board is full as the patrons killed by this don't actually leave the board until the effect is complete. At which point they won't be able to spawn new patrons. When this happens the effect will go until everything is dead, at which point it will stop. All patrons die (that is why the effect stopped after all) and then bam, no more patrons.
Though I could be wrong, as the text reads "cast again" which means each instance of 1 damage COULD be an effect that happens then ends, at which points patrons will clear, new patrons will spawn, then the next instance of 1 damage happens.
I found my mistake and this does not go infinite however a normal 3/3 patron with a 2 health and 1 health on the board does unless they can't activate if the board is full with ones that died on previous rounds
I am very very glad that this card exists. Am I happy that I have to give up my favorite card for it? No, but I'll take the hit for the greater good. Though it still automatically triggers at least twice if you have the dreadsteed on board when you play it, which makes it more likely to trigger the third time and so-on. Maybe I can keep my horse around.

I think you have error in your calculations.....4 3/2 patrons from 3 3/3 patrons doesnt seem right....
yea I found my mistake and edited before anyone else has to deal with my idiocy but a normal 3/3 patron goes infinitely apparently and I am sure my calculations are correct there I believe my calculation for that is on page 5 at the bottomish
Amazing card, too bad Warlock will probably stay trash tier for KoFT :/
Apparently warlock hero card is really strong as promoted on the stream, so perhaps warlock will come back, this card definitely helps it, maybe others will too.
but warlock already beat patron and was one of the most one sided matchups in the history of hearthstone before the wild standard split, anyway really cool card.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?

I think we are gonna have to wait on Toasts upcoming interactions video. Not officially announced, I am assuming things.
you don't need umbra once you've gotten your 6 dinomancers up. The umbra into cruel dinomancer went off a combo of you discard one cruel dinomancer and nothing else and then play umbra into the other cruel dinomancer to give you 6 5/5 minions whose deathrattle resummons themselves because they are the only things that have been discarded. Doesn't matter if umbra dies the deathrattles still happen. The very contrived situation of making one dinomancer 1 health, a second 2 health, a third 3 health, etc. is extremely contrived and most likely never going to happen outside of a friendly match but it's still possible.
Bloodmage Thalnos's spell damage probably won't stick around for the second cast, so that's 3+ damage to the board plus a cantrip for 2 cards and 4 mana. That's basically a hellfire
Possessed Villager is 3+ damage to the board for 2 cards and 3 mana, again basically a hellfire.
I think the real value in this card is just as a board wipe and not tricky combos. You might throw down a cheap minion to fill the gaps in your opponents creatures, but most of the skill in using this is adding another dimension to trading (and remember to take account for divine shield)
To clarify, this has a pretty high skill ceiling with potential high value. It's not just "HURRR DURR OP CARD PLAY ON CURVE WIN GAME" but there's some planning that goes into playing this. 1 dmg AOE for 2 mana is pretty good on its own but has the potential to be ridiculous value.
high skill rating? at worst (or best, whichever u want) u have to be able to count to 7

very good card for sure, definitely like this one.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Don't worry, they'll just nerf patrons to not summon new patrons when they're damaged until the end of the turn :'(
As long as this kills a minion each time its cast, it's a 2 mana board clear. Maybe not OP, but a little bit.
Can you imagine how obscene this would have been as a Warrior card? LOL
This is 6 aoe with violet teacher right?
Very good baord clear, aggro nightmare.
My magic will tear you apart!
OMG! Aggro's nigthmare.
My magic will tear you apart!
Grim Patron + Elven Archer + Define = 7 damage board clear and leaves you with 2x 3/1, 2x 3/2 and 3x 3/3.
oh my my ... this ... this is ... *gasp*

Instead of nerfing Dreadsteed this could've just been reworded to "repeat the effect" instead of "cast this again" and it wouldn't have looped.
