I wish blizzard would stop pigeon holeing pally with divine shield this expansion. If the archtype sucks so will the whole class. This card could atleast have an extra stat.
Even if it's playable it's boring as hell. I expect better blizzard, paladin is my favorite class and I hope for something cool so I can forget about frogloks, i mean murlocs, which I hate.
Since when is tutoring boring?
As many have said, it'll just be used to guarantee Tirion, by and large. I doubt we'll see a Divine Shield paladin take off, but you never know. So yeah, it's boring.
3 mana 2/2 Battlecry: Draw a card. Not bad. Average.
3 mana 2/2 Battlecry: Draw a minion. Better, probably.
3 mana 2/2 Battlecry: Draw a specific minion from your deck. Holy shit.
Fucking thank you. This card preeeeeety good. It's not an on curve minion, it's a body (however poor) that draws tirion or wicker. The downside, if you draw wicker and tirion first.
Though someone did point out something interesting to me. That Arcanologist is basically the same card but is a 2/3 for 2. That being said is Tirion a better pull than say iceblock? I mean obviously Tirion is a higher quality card, but iceblock is absolutely fucking essential for Mage most times, Tirion may or may not be. It's a good question.
Also, can we put to bed the idiotic argument of "You don't want Tirion on turn 3."
Of fucking course you don't. You also don't want him on turns 1,2,3,4,5,6, or 7. But you do want him on turn 8. Do you know a good way to have him on turn 8? BY FUCKING DRAWING HIM BEFORE THAT.
2/2 is really weak stats for a 3 drop. Yes you can draw Tirion, but unless there is a strong 4 mana divine shield minion, I don't think this is good enough.
Love the artwork! The helmet horns nostalgically remind me of the good old days of Diablo 2, plus a nice effect given maybe even more divine shield synergy to be revealed ; in my humble opinion, that is promising!
3 mana draw tirion or wickerflame from your deck. If it was two mana it may of been busted. It has fair stats for its cost since drawing a card in my opinion is worth 3 stat points.
I dunno if this would ever take Stonehill Defender's spot.
2/2 - Maybe draw Tirion?
Vs.
1/4 Taunt - Create a brand new game breaking card out of thin air -- that could also be Tirion. Or Tarim. Or Burnbristle. Or Curator. Or Soggoth. Or that 7 drop (that grants Divine shields to adjacent minions).

I mean most lists only run him and wickerflame currently. It's a pretty good chance. Additionally, even though they are both 3 mana, this isn't a minion to play on curve, you play it the turn before tirion or prehaps sometime after your opponent has miraculously dealt with the other two. Also if you are going to attach the "maybe draw Tirion" you should really really also include the "maybe" to Stonehill. I have had plenty of results where I got nothing game breaking at all.

Stonehill will take a hit in your performance because the increase of the options in the pool, he is only broken now where the odds to get a great taunt is very high.
The tinning aspect is a upside unless the game reach fatigue, if you play this card and draw Tirion you don't have the risk draw him in turn 4 instead a Consecration or a TrueSilver what is a much better draw in that turn.

This does require that blizzard actually release bad taunts, and specifically bad paladin taunts. Might happen. Hasn't yet this expansion.

I'm not sure it's good enough.
loot hoarder draws 1 card and costs 1 fewer mana crystals and only has 1 less health.
my guess is there will be a few more divine shield paladin card in this set.

PinocchioMalygos?"Too slow, way too slow. If you want value it's better to just use Acolyte of Pain or Stonehill Defender.
