It's no Arcanologist but it's still a strong tutor effect priced at about 1 mana higher than tutoring for a Mage Secret.
Prediction: 4 mana Divine Shield minion that is stronger than C'thun's Chosen - might even have Deathrattle. Howling Commander will need something to curve into.
bad stats for mana cost. Also many minions with divine shield have bad stats. Good at arena though: you can draw Argent Commander, Sunwalker or Psych-o-Tron.
Guaranteed Tirion on turn 8. Forget the Divine Shield Shenanigans. it's not gonna work for the same reasons that Hand Buff didn't work. it requires too much setup. Paladins will just play this with Tirion for consistency.
3 mana 2/2 draw a card is probably not good enough. But a 3 mana 2/2 draw a specific card seems playable, when the specific cards are staples in nearly every deck and you want them in your hand. 1-1.5 mana for the body, 1.5-2 mana for drawing Wickerflame or Tirion (or maybe another minion).
But obviously anti-synergy with Corpsetaker (which will not be played with this card).
That will be at least a guaranteed 1-off in any control paladin list I imagine. Has enough targets with Tirion Fordring and Wickerflame Burnbristle and is a perfect curve play with decent stats. Paladin lacks unconditional 3-drops and this is exactly that.
edit: thought it was 2/3, so not that decent stats. As 2/2 it might be too weak, sadly.
If Devineshield Pally becomes top tier (somehow) it will get the best deck counter since pirate warriors best friend.. blood knight.. so the harder you try, the harder you get countered starting from turn 3...
Just remind you... 5 Devine shields +bloodnight counter = 18-18 for 3 mana (better then Edwin)

Well because you have only 2 divineshield in the deck and only 1 of this, and you want wickerflame come out on turn 3 too so i thinh there will be a lot of game this card will do nothing.
Won't see play cuz understatted. Cabal Courier was only used in decks which wanted value (or bit of flexibility) since it created a card while this is a 2/2 "draw a card". If you're playing a divine shield theme deck it will probably be filled with many divine shield minions anyway so "draw a card" almost equals "draw a divine shield minion".
On a sidenote: I don't get that they are pushing a DIVINE shield theme in an expansion which is all about "going to the dark side". It doesn't make sense that some dark undead looking dude calls in divine help. Maybe it's just me...
if this was 2 mana 2/1 with this effect i'd say it was godly, but its taking up space in the clogged 3 spot. literally nothing on 1 2 or 5 thats good and they print 3 and 4 mana cards

Draw Tirion Fordring.
But Stonehill Defender draws Tirion for you.... an extra Tirion even!
It seems fair.
It's like Novice Engineer, but might be a bit better since it can't get pinged off. Can guarantee a Tirion Fordring or Wickerflame Burnbristle draw. I'm not sure if you would play this over Stonehill Defender, but it's just an average card.
FUS RO DAHHHHH.
I would play this and Stonehill Defender because I rock! xD
Great card for hand buff decks.
Stonehill defender outclass this one everyway lolz. And it make your opponent know you have Tirion in hand thus save. Removal for him.

It does "draw Tyrion", but you normally want this in a divine-shield themed deck, so you're not 100% sure you'll draw Tyrion with it.
Which begs the question, why is this a 3 mana 2/2 when Arcanologist is a 2 mana 2/3? I genuinely don't get it.
