im assuming if this is played in a n'zoth deck it will be a 5/3 do nothing once re summoned in the same way as the 6 mana 3/3 guy that destroys a miion does
edit : nevermind it wont re summon at all
Moat Lurker Does nothing when he comes back because the death-rattle is tied to it's battlecry. When you resummon it the battlecry doesn't go off again. I believe N'zoth WILL resummon this guy because once you "choose one" the card will essentially change and become a Fatespinner with a deathrattle do one or the other. So N'zoth should resummon it withe the specific keyword you chose.
I would of rather had a 5 mana spell do 3 damage to all enemy minions, like flamestrike but roots come out of the board and pull the minions down. It might be ok in ramp for aggro but do we still keep swipe and this? hmmm
I'm digging the concept of secret deathrattle, which may turn out to be a Druid exclusive thing, due to choose one being Druid exclusive. I hope to see more cards like this.
Very interesting card. As to how playable it will be remains to be seen. I am curious as to how this works with N'Zoth. Do we get random deathrattle, no deathrattle or the deathrattle we chose originally?
N'Zoth won't pull it. If a minion gains Deathrattle through an effect, it's not a deathrattle minion.
I am not 100% sure about this. Druid of the claw transforms into a Taunt minion that might be resummoned by Hadronox since it is a taunt. Likewise, this could be revived by N'zoth if it has the keyword Deathrattle written in the textbox. Unearthed Raptor just adds the Deathrattle line as a buff. And since Blizzard is not highly consistent with the effects anyway, everything is possible. I will test it in any case to be usre about it...
This card could have some potential but as this is a Deathrattle it seems a lot like a 5 mana Doomsayer. it would seem useless with the amount of board-clears that you should opt for a board buff, unless you combine it with a Wratch, but than you are looking at 2 cards and 7 mana. Tokens typically don't like such slow cards. It does tend to word with Egg druid but you can't only play eggs during the first 4 turn, unless you ramp.
Interesting card and could help Druid but I'm not sold yet. It can help to halt the development of the board for token decks. Murlocs might get buffed out of reach but turn 5.

Most likely it won't be summoned by N'zoth, since it doesn't have Deathrattle baseline.
Although the design of this card is really cool, I think a lot of people have massively overestimated its power level.
It's a deathrattle effect, so your opponents can silence(if we get bunch of high quality deathrattle minions in this expansion, silence might become much more common) it or transform it, or simply ignore it because it does not have taunt and push for more face damage.

Depends on if, after the choice, the resultant card has new art and is seen as a different card. Found out today that if Hadronox dies, it will bring back Druid of the Claw if you chose the taunt options, but it won't bring back ancient of war. So my guess is it has something to do with whether or not the system sees the choices as adding a keyword to an existing card (like AoW) or if it sees it as distinct card with the base ability of taunt (like DotC). I imagine it'll work similarly for fidgetspinner here.
I don't know anything about Warcraft lore, but isn't this fella a beast? Looks like a mantis to me.
These fellas belong to the nerubian race and are half-spider and half-humanoids. In WoW they are tagged as undeads. Other Nerubian cards in HS don't have the beast tag either. :)

I think you're underestimating the secret choose one effect, and the tempo swing that can provide, in either case, for whoever takes best advantage of it--particularly in combination with tools available to Druid. So, it's an ignore it at your own risk kind of thing.
I like the new mechanic but not only the choice will be pretty obvious but since the effect is delayed for at least a turn, the AOE and the also the buff will lose some serious value till the triggering..

Cool idea.
Dunno if the card is that good though, has the potential to create some weird situations.
This is a good card it is easy to remove but it is only will tempt the opponent.
Hi Yennifer but a deathrattle
Well, Druid finally has a board clear, though it's not very good. It can be easily played around similar to Chillmaw.

This is not good, but I love the design of this card.

I love it. The other side encourages flooding and the other plays a lot like a doomsayer!

May your nets always be full! 🎣
It will be pretty obvious in most cases which option was chosen.
the phrasing on the second portion should be more clear, imo
