obviously you wouldn't play ally cats or beast tokens in the same deck as this card. Its basically the same idea as res priest was. We can't know if its viable until we see what other cards are available. Also you can pair this with the 3 cost card the activates a deathrattle.
If the meta slows down, this card might be able to do some work in a deck that uses build-a-beast as the primary source of beasts. Highmane is the ideal target for this guy, but digging up a built beast could be pretty awesome.
so I kind of see where blizzard is going with most of these hunter cards now, but they made professor putricide, so unless something we see for beast hunter is insane I have my doubts. Slow midrange hunter seems worse than loading up on secrets and then hitting face a bunch.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
So now Hunters can Play a 7 Mana Abomination that can summon a 6 Mana Highmane that will summon 2 2/2 beasts? I wanna see that and feel salty over that!
In arena, this thing is a monster. In constructed, it doesn't SMOrc hard enough. Unless a slower Midrange N'Zoth Hunter becomes viable. That would be awesome, but they need more comeback mechanisms like board clears and better hard removal than Deadly Shot.
I just feel that a deathrattle with a huge mana cost and a lot of health is inherently bad.
I've been theorycrafting with Hunter since they have a few cards announced, and I can never find a spot for this card because it's too clunky and big, has no on play effect with an average deathrattle.
My vote is bad.
I also think it's average in Arena. Poor stats for the mana, again no on play effect, and will just lose to any more aggressive mid-range list as they will just ignore it.
extremely bad in hunter will see no play. Chance you get your onedrop or a token are way to high. Maybe with taunt this would be interesting for a controlish style but as it is this is plane bad.
This card can be good with a zombeast hunter because it's more control-oriented. Otherwise, your deck is probably filled with early game minions, so why would you play this over Highmane ?
Its stats are decent but it's way too slow and the majority of the beast minions that are currently played in the meta are small and wouldn't be worth it. I don't see this being played.
Just noticed that deathknights won't exist for alternate heroes. For example if you play the card "Deathstalker Rexxar" while using with Alleria your hero will/should transform into Rexxar.
Don't like this card because it's everything wrong with randomness in hearthstone. You lowroll with this card and pull an alleycat and it's terrible. You highroll and pull the highmane you just killed off and you win the game on the spot against most decks. Really bad design but I think it will see play because the highroll outcomes are just so powerful.
Maybe this card will be good if they release either comback mechanics for hunter or good neutral early drops so they dont have to play little garbage beasts to survive. As is, it is way too slow with too much risk on the payoff
Fantastic card.
Everyone complains about what value but never really defines what it is.
You get two minions for one. That's always good and effective against most single target removal.

Something witty.

Onyx Bishop for Hunter? But it's so slow....
The fact that it's deathrattle and not battlecry really really hurts this card.

Knights of the Frozen Throne Actual Card Text: Hunter edition
Cheaper Than Sandworm. 7 mana. 6/7. Deathrattle: Summon a random friendly Alley Cat or Tabby Cat that died this game.

No board clear, no control hunter...
This would fit in a deck that runs big, expensive beasts, but in current Hunter decks it summons too many 1/1s.
Wonder if this will be the meta where a proper Control Hunter emerges...
Think it's a good card if it summons at least a Bearshark or Infested Wolf. Anything smaller and it's probably not worth it.
Lackluster, please give me a reason to use Alleria, she has the cutest voice.
Just noticed that deathknights won't exist for alternate heroes. For example if you play the card "Deathstalker Rexxar" while using with Alleria your hero will/should transform into Rexxar.
look nice as an arena card
