Nobody knows. Blizzard has shown to be very hesitant of nerfing anything lately and there have not been any information about them taking a closer look at certain cards either.
I would not bet on any nerfs before the next expansion hits, blizz has pretty much accepted the dominance of pirates by now and does not seem to view the Quest Rogue archetype as a problem.
This is of course educated guessing and nothing else, i personally hold off on dusting anything at all and would advise anyone to do the exact same thing. Unless you badly want to craft one or a bunch of cards you simply need the dust for disencahnting cards prematurely is pretty much pointless.
Yeah, same thought here.. Thanks. I was just hoping for some good value whenever the nerf hits ^^
I have so much duplicates and just want to hit the "dust all" button... But i dont want to dust my duplicate legendaries and epics just in case there will be a nerf
If last year is any indication, they won't be nerfing anything. I think unless quest rogue is literally half the meta for 6 months, they're not going to nerf it.
I'd like to see a slight nerf to Primordial Glyph, that card is ridiculous. It should reduce found spells by only 1 mana. And why does it find itself so often? It's waaaaay more often than raw chance.
I can't really see a nerf incoming, since all the classes can tech in ways to counter the meta.
However, if something is going to get nerfed, it's likely going to be the pirate package again, maybe nzoth's first mate's weapon to 1/2 statline, or bloodsail cultist to a 3/3 baseline or something among those lines, but I really do not anticipate a nerf coming anytime soon.

Right now, I've got roughly 8k on the 'mass disenchant' button. When I am in need of a card, I type "extra" in the search field, and dust cards that won't ever be nerfed. (They don't see any play, don't support archetypes, they're just balanced, etc.)
I would dearly like Caverns nerfed, and a nerf to Pirate (N'Zoth's First Mate or Patches).
While Caverns doesn't feel "OP" at the moment, that is only because the entire meta has warped to deal with it, either by tech'ing against it, or by disappearing because it can't handle a wave of one-mana 5/5's with charge, battlecries, etc on turn 5-6. Particularly, Caverns should not affect board, just hand and deck. That would slow it down enough that a lot of mid-range and control archetypes could become viable again.
As for pirates, NFM to 1/2 as suggested above would help, but to me, Patches has always been the problem. It's just too much for someone to get a free 1/1 charge on T1. I would change it so that you had to play a pirate that cost (3) or more to get him. A free 1/1 on T3 is not overbearing, and the strategy becomes riskier as you run the chance of accidentally top-decking him each turn.
They will never nerf Patches - they are so proud of themselves for coming up with the card. Plus, there are a few archetypes in other classes that run a small Pirate package and I think Blizzard likes that. The only real oppressive Pirate deck remaining is Pirate Warrior (obviously). What makes that deck click are the 2 Warrior-specific Pirate cards: N'Zoth's First Mate and Bloodsail Cultist.
I don't know how you would even go about nerfing NFM - reducing the weapon to just 2 charges won't do much because they rarely use all 3 charges before equipping a better weapon. You would have to increase the cost to 2 mana and make it a 2/2 or something. That would eliminate the insane T1 play of weapon + 2 minions on board (or 3 minions w/coin).
They probably wouldn't touch Bloodsail Cultist, but making her a 3/3 would make a difference.
With those changes, Pirate Warrior would still be a good deck, but it would just slow it down a notch.

Never dust just to dust. If you aren't going to immediately need the dust to craft something then the dust sitting in your bank isn't doing anything more. Meanwhile, undusted cards MAY be nerfed later on at best, at worst you can dust it when you actually need it.
Warsong Commander seemed like an easy thing to nerf back in GvG then went from crap to OMGNERFNOW in the space of a few months. Same goes for when I received a second Yogg soon after crafting my first back when it was just a "HAHA PRAISE YOGG" card.
Just dust the cards you need to craft with and leave the rest as is.
They should definitely change N'Zoth's First Mate. Either change the durability of the weapon or maybe even remove the pirate tag. To me, it is a good card, but the pirate tag makes it too ridiculous with Patches

If there is any upcoming nerf, it won't happen until like 2-3 weeks before the next expansion hits.... Blizz is well-known to balance things right before the new cards come out....
The only reasonable change to be made at this point is a complete overhaul of the Warrior class, and I don't expect them to admit -- to themselves or anyone else -- how true this is.
(I'm not salty about any specific archetype, btw. It just becomes more and more apparent with each expansion that the very foundations of the class are always going to lead to problems. Warrior will always be OP in constructed and garbage in Arena.)

The only nerfs I think is turn reward for quest rogue a permanent like reward warlock and not a spell, this way cannot be played for 2 manas with Prep and Patches only have charge if played from hand for battlecry, 1/1 free is good enough the charge make the card broken.

Agreed, the only class that makes this so problematic is Warrior, and it's because of their weapon buffs. The fact that they can get a 1/3 weapon, a 1/1 charge, AND a 2/1 charge, ALL on turn 1, is just retarded. Plus they are able to back it up with a 5 mana deal 10+ damage card, of which they are allowed 2 copies. Stahp. But no, that's not enough, now they can gain extra attacks with those weapons! Having insanely aggressive starts is cool. Having insanely aggressive weapons is cool. Having both, not so cool.
Btw I'm not calling for nerfs or anything like that, but Warrior's weapon buffs should only add attack, not durability. Imagine if Deadly Poison gave an additional attack... I would rather see Upgrade give +3 attack than +1/+1. +1 Durability means a minimum of 6 more damage from Reaper. Nty.

Again,in my opinion to get rid of pirate warrior the best solution blizzard can came out with is a simply nerf that is not gonna involve any dust refund: Fiery War Axe. Can only attack minions. Bye bye 5/3 bloodsail raider on turn 2. Bgmye bye dread corsair played for free at turn 2/3. You wanna hi me heavily on the face? Wait at least your turn 5 with arcanite reaper, scumbag
Just idea to think about. what if the nerfed bloodsail cultist to give the weapon +1 attack or +1 durability. Not a choose one effect but text would be something like "if you control a pirate, give your weapon +1 attack" or "if you control a pirate, give your weapon +1 durability"
They can also remove the pirate tribe tag from cards like naga corsair or other. This is a bad idea but it is an idea nonetheless.
Lastly NFM is hard card to nerf without destroying the card. Making it 2 mana and the 2/2 weapon is even stronger than it is now. making the weapon a 1/2 doesnt do much because they dont always use all 3 charges.

Will there be an upcoming nerf within 2-4 weeks?
Or can i savely without regret dust all my duplicates? :P
I was waiting for some value, from my double legendaries like the rogue quest etc :)
