We complained that Stormcrack was absolute trash because it wasn't as good as Crackle. Stormcrack saw a lot of play, and there's reason to expect this will too, given how powerful Imp-losion was. Yes, it competes with Bane of Doom, but the consistency of 3 1/1s is probably on average better than Bane of Doom's expected statline.
Bane of Doom got better with rotation. You have 61% chance of positive to neutral outcome. However, you have now a 50% chance to get a GOOD outcome, which is far far better than 3 1/1s.
Implosion was pretty broken (definitely won't miss that *** in wild) but I don't think consistently getting the middle outcome (AND losing demon synergy, doesn't matter that much but hey). is worth 1 mana more.
Maybe it would have been too strong at 4 mana in zoo. So I'm not sure about the balancing. As of now, I'll call it bad.
Getting Succubus (3 mana stats) on Bane of Doom is still better than Stormpike Commando, I'd say it's neutral, not bad.
You need at least 4 mana body for Bane of Doom to become neutral value-wise. Anything above, and you get more value than playing a typical 4 drop + a 1 mana 2 damage spell.

You have a good point, but we were comparing Bane to Feeding. Getting a 4/3 is often better than three 1/1's. In fact, I value a 3/3 (void terror) over three 1/1's, though that's harder to justify.

More reason Feeding Time is garbage. It's worse than some of the "bad" outcomes from a card that also never sees play.

remember when everyone though implosion was going to be shit. the zoo synergies are too plentiful.
Sure this costs 1 more and the chance for 4 is gone, but you never will get a 2 with this. The new Egg into the pterodax into this is not a bad line.
