Seriously, this would have been so good and so vital for the warlock class to exist, if it would only cost 1 mana less. At 5 mana, I don't think this is all that great. Out of sheer lack of any playable spells, it might find a home in a few decks, but this isn't great value and has to compete with Bane of Doom, which has a far better positive outcome most of the time. It doesn't even spawn demons FFS. So even the 5/4 demon buff guy doesn't benefit from it. That card has simply no targets with Forbidden Ritual also not being demons and Imp Gangboss leaving... it's obsolete after one expansion... Sad that Blizz is unwilling to give warlock an identity. With PO rotating, I think the average Zoo deck plays like 2 soulfires (if at that) and that's it when it comes to spells.
Arguably a better version of Implosion, less variance, guaranteed 3 minions - only downside is the mana cost, 5 mana is quite a hefty cost, if it had been 4 mana it would have been crazy but also too good tbh..
For 5 mana ? I'd expect a guaranteed 4 minions maybe ... Imp-losion was maybe not consistent on that 4dmg, but didn't cost 5 either. The only thing that makes it a little better is the release of Bloodbloom but still, that's 5 dmg to you deal to your face...
Imp-losion mini creep, i hatedImp-losion and hoped i'd never see that card again, well at least it's 5 mana this time and can't kill 4health minions plus Power Overwhelming is being hall of famed..in WIld tho....oh god Sea Giant may see a lot of playa gain in wild, which kind of makes me happy since i have 2 of them...such confusing feelings

It does combo quite well with Bloodbloom but do you really want to take 5 damage while already tapping constantly just to deal 3 damage to a minion and summon three 1/1's? pretty sure the answer is no unless warlocks have some uber healing card that hasn't been revealed yet.
Yeah that is what makes this card bad mana cost you are paying 5 mana and dealing only 3 damage and get some crackers on your side that will die without any use.
A better version of this would be deal 3 damage summon two 1/1 poisonous minion for 5 mana
Imp-losion with 1 mana additional cost. Non-random 3 damage and 3 1/1's on board (that aren't demons). Not a bad arena card, not sure it will see much play in constructed.
I agree although i think they decided that 4 mana is too similar to imp-plosion and 3 mana is OP
And 5 mana isn't too similar to Bane of Doom? They don't want warlock to have good spells. They underestimated implosion, since that was actually fairly costed due tot he RNG. Sure 4 damage hit was insane, but a 2 damage hit was just as devastating in many cases. This card is worth exactly 4 mana and not 5, but Blizzard is scared of giving warlock access to decent spells without downside or something. That warlock, out of all classes, gets a legendary AND an epic spell that makes casting spells easier, is the biggest joke, since all that adds are more wasted cards that never gonna see play.
As such, this card costs 1 mana more and that is absolute bullshit. 3 1/1 is worth 2 mana, if even that. 3 minion damage is worth 1.5 - 2 mana. So we are looking at 3 - 4 mana at best. Even if you tax it for 'combined effect', it's worth an extra .5 mana maximum. This card should have costed 4 and in every other class, it would have costed 4. It doesn't even spawn demons FFS. Blizz just has no clue what to do with warlocks. Warlock is the class with the least identity and least amount of playable class cards. It seems it will forever be the neutral-cards class with that amazing hero power - which is very sad.
We complained that Stormcrack was absolute trash because it wasn't as good as Crackle. Stormcrack saw a lot of play, and there's reason to expect this will too, given how powerful Imp-losion was. Yes, it competes with Bane of Doom, but the consistency of 3 1/1s is probably on average better than Bane of Doom's expected statline.

"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Well, you asked for no rng bullshit implosion, there you go.
Dinosplosion
Looks like Warlock is gaining a collection of unplayable 5-mana spells.

Honestly Warlock is getting all the bad cards.
1. Bingo
2. If discolock is weak they are screwed
This is what Implosion should have been.
Imp-losion with 1 mana additional cost. Non-random 3 damage and 3 1/1's on board (that aren't demons). Not a bad arena card, not sure it will see much play in constructed.
Violet Illusionist would be an okay card to enable this
