It could summon a 4 mana 30/30, but it's gonna be weak to Hex and Devolve. So unless shaman dies (which it doesn't look like it will), expensive buff effects are gonna be bad. If this archetype is gonna get support, it needs to see low risk cheap buffs rather than putting all of our already rotten Paladin eggs in one basket. At least playing it at all will trigger the quest, so it's possible that if the meta slows down enough and Jade Druid doesn't have a taunt in hand to block the Kaleidosaur, it will be moderately redeemable.
Edit: Also, the Stegodon better have taunt like everybody else says.
Kinda brings backSludge Belcher's memories. Even on a 1/1 dude it is 3/7 taunt with a 2/6 taunt coming right up. I like it. Ofc Devolve is a hard counter but still a nice card.
True, a more balanced Sludge Belcher with a specific purpose. Not bad.

I bet my ass they released this because we have been whining about the quest. Does this mean we should survive until a really late game to play this? Still at 6 mana it's making it even harder for the quest because it shares the same slot as Ivory Knight and Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale. Sunkeeper Tarim is also a 6 mana slot. But this makes it also 5 Beasts for the paladins, since we get Galvadon, Lightfused Stegodon and 2 Stegodon.
At least I am going to replace 1 Blessing of Kings for this one. I will wait until all cards are revealed and see what kind of cards can be played in a The Last Kaleidosaur quest deck.
What a fantastic card! This card is essentially a 4/12 split in two via deathrattle--and that's assuming the minion it's buffing is a 0/0, which we know is impossible since the minion will have basic stats. Deathrattle minions--especially with taunt--are consistently undervalued by the community and this card will do the same. Unless you have a silence waiting in your hand for this, this'll punish basically every deck in the meta that needs to apply consistent pressure (midrange and aggro alike).
I mean, that's part of the problem though. There's a reason why we don't even see 4 mana 7/7 very often, and that's the fact that these super efficient removal+silence cards exist. And the fact that half of the value of the card is in the deathrattle means the card is half as good if it cant even trigger.
Don't get me wrong here, I'm still playing it, lol. I think it's gonna be really fun and nothing is more exciting to me than a Stegosaurus Paladin deck. I'm just upset that Paladin is still getting the short end of the stick just because Secret Paladin ruined the class for everyone. I just wanna play a nice midrange paladin again.
This is OP as shit in Arena....It's Power Word: Tentacles power creep. For 1 extra mana you get a 2/6 Taunt minion. It's a little slower than Blessing of Kings but it's a better card with more value... The minion is worth 3 mana strong....So 3 mana cost for 8 stats, 1 mana less than Blessings for same value amount.

Does the minion you cast this spell on rly have it as a deathrattle? If so, you resummon it from Nzoth?
Because this is a compact/multicard whatever you want to call it, that increases its worth by a bit.
So the token should be worth about 3 to 4 mana. I think 3/4 worth of stats and taunt as a token would make it playable.
Power Word: Tentacles is 5 mana and doesn't have the taunt. Blessing of Kings is 4 mana for 8 stats without taunt. Not sure where you're getting 3 mana from... Even Velen's Chosen had only 2/4 and spell damage, unless you're saying +1 spell damage = 2 health and taunt (its not if you compare Kobold Geomancer and Squirming Tentacle.
Not saying this is a good card, there's a reason nobody plays Power Word: Tentacles, and this is too slow to be good for the quest, but stat-wise, its pretty good, especially if you get 2/6 taunt from it (essentially turns a SHR into a better Sludge Belcher for 1 more mana.
Sigh, if only cards like Faerie Dragon could be casted on by the player that controls it, I don't think that's too overpowered but alas, it'll never happen and therefore Buff Paladin will always be moderately weak to average.
This looks playable at best. While (assuming a 2/6 taunt token) looks nice with the 4/12 worth of stats. Too many things can go wrong here. The meta looks control-ish and silence cards seem to be growing in power. Silence Priest shall reign!

I have leaked the Stegodon and the Image
Really decent arena card. Doubt it will see play in constructed in anything other than some gimmicky quest decks.
Why am I sticky?
This spell is just fabulous, im think

FOR THE HORDE!
Why the weird use of "When it dies" instead of using the Deathrattle keyword?
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Im wondering why the Flavour Text is "When it dies..." instead of "Deathrattle" ?
Any ideas ?

It's slow but...I kinda like it? The only downside I can see is it's slow and the 2/6 is Priest-fodder.

Some comparison:
Cairne is a recurring 4/5, with no taunt. Same cost. 1 card.
Sludge belcher is 3/5 + 1/2. For 1 less mana (5). 1 card.
This buff is an inherent 2 cards drop. For the same cost as Cairne (6). But it is a recurring taunt, and a very solid one.
I think it will see play in slow decks: if a Paladin gets to use it against aggro, it's gg for the Aggro in most cases.
