Yeah, I don't see how they can justify this, considering how understatted the Druid adapt beast card is. They will have to probably nerf it: the Hunter cards are way to annoying too receive most of these buffs.
Adapt is stronger in a low cost minion than in a high cost one, and the hunter card has no stats penalty. Yes it requires a beast but the condition is basically irrelevant because it's super easy to achieve . Same way a dragon requirement doesn't make Drakonid OP less broken
This card is way more powerful than Verdant Longneck, there's no doubt about that. But no surprise about that. Blizzard always make druid cards overcosted.
This card proves low mana minions are still king in this game
I guess they considered the requirement of another minion to be enough of a cost to give it average stats
Yeah, I guess that is the calculus. But consider that those adapt buffs are lot more powerful with other minions than a vanilla 5/4. I you consider the combo with Huffer on turn 5, you could end up with a shielded 4/2(like the beast version of Argent Commander, or give it windfury and 8 damage to the face! And that is just two of many ridiculous outcomes.
The Marsh Queen will require between 10-15 and perhaps more 1 mana drops. So this will see some use. Alongside Tundra Rhino and some sort of tauntkillers.
edit: Based on the assumption noone wants to finish this quest when near fatigue.
Goddamn this thing is gonna be powerful in Secret Hunter. Even though it's better to combo it with Fiery Bat than Alley Cat (and Fiery Bat is the decidedly weaker 1-mana beast), it still gives you so many good options for empowering your board. Hitting the enemy in the face for 5 with the +3 attack effect, giving your minions resistance to pings with the Plant deathrattle effect or the Divine Shield, putting up a Taunt body when you need one...there's no doubt in my mind this thing is going to see play.

Any comment that says "deal with it" as an argument... is probably not worth responding to, but here goes. It's hard for a hunter to play 1 drop beast???? lol Furthermore, this card is just as powerful played later and comboed with other minions. It will be nerfed like Buccaneer and that card that gave plus 2 attack.
It's nice to see Hunter getting some love but this should have been a 2/2, it's always relevant unless you don't have a Beast on the board (and then it has vanilla stats) and the likelihood of getting a genuinely bad result is incredibly low on any minion
Joust crapshoots suck, especially for elekk since you win them more vs aggro, which means you get a card you'll never get a chance to play, and you'll lose them more vs control, when you actually need and could use the card.
And adding +3 attack/health to a minion is superior to dealing 1 (random) damage on death.

Wow! This card makes Trogg Beastrager look like trash.
Great card, hope we will see more goodies
Look this and then look Verdant Longneck
Why Blizzard ? Why hunter is favoured ?
New hunter meta?
it's a great card but let's be honest, no one is eager to see an adapted Haunted Creeper in wild
This will most likely see play in the new aggro hunter with the quest and 1 drops.

Not sure if hyped yet.

Bloodfen Raptor with a bonus is always good for hunter, now that we've lost King's Elekk and Huge Toad
Adapt Queen with windfury !
Do it or do not , there is no try...

Like the card and I am glad Hunter is finally getting some love.
With this card... Huffer can go face, twice. 10/10
I dislike this card, it's too strong.
