Don't get why everyone is assuming this is gonna be a 5/15. With those 1 mana 1/2s you could easily make this way bigger if that was the right way to play.
First of all forget thr current meta when the expansion hits the meta will chsnge for sure we have a standard rotation so trust me this card might see play because its a big minion with taunt and saying it gets removed by poly or swd its the same think like saying that ancient of war gets removed by hex and i think you see a lot of people play ancient of war do you know why? Because its a big minion with taunt and a lot of health now ozruk in the worst case is a 9 mana ancient witch i will aggre its bad but you might just need a big minion to save you now if you manage to play 2 elementals well that is preety nuts 3 elementals that is insane so wait and see saying a card is bad just because it would be too slow on this meta is very wrong since and trust me on this this meta is going to change and you can never rule out big cards that affect the board and yes taunt affects the board espacially if it is that big of a taunt

The difference between 5/15 and say, 5/50 is actually pretty insignificant. Either your opponent has a removal for it or you can shout I WIN!
I think it would be better if it's 1 mana for 1/1 taunt. Then add 2/2 and cost 1 more mana for each Elemental played the turns before. That way he can be consistent of defense and not have to wait until; turn 9 to be played. So the stats would be like this:
In addition to all the counters and cost, its gotta be one of the most predictable cards to see coming. a lot of cards you know are coming and kind of predict the drop, but if somebody plays multi elementals on turn 8, you know whats coming, giving the opponent even more of an advantage to counter it.

Then you waited to turn 8 with your early game drops, and wasted this turn playing inconsequential and weak minions only to buff your next turn. Even if Ozruk is not hardcountered by instakill/transform ability, you just had a game with terrible early game (your early minions werent played during it) and bad turn 8.
He would be playable if his baseline form was 5/10 - terrible for 9 mana, but 5/15 might be usable at turn 9, and is achieved after playing one elemental - which could be your 8 drop. Ozruk is not C'thun, it's not worth sacrificing all your tempo and curve in order to empower him.
No lol. Removal in hearthstone isn't even good. For example, magic the gathering has removal you can play on the opponent's turn for like 1-2 mana lol. and that's not with "a frog with taunt" or shit, just 2 mana assassinates
Lol you're kidding right? Why don't you make a thread saying how bad you think removal is in this game and see what others think? And who cares about MTG removal? Sure you can compare it to HS removal but it's not relevant to this particular card thread.
I disagree, I think removal is very good in HS. At least for most classes.
You need to play 2 elementals to even consider this. That might be possible, but still... It dies to hard removal (and gets wrecked by silence) and takes up your entire turn. It is also really obvious to your opponent when you are about to play this as a 5/20 (or something similar) since it will always be the turn after you vomit out elementals.
Pretty bad, but I suppose that it might be worth it in a 100% elementals deck.
Huge expensive taunt minions aren't good for much except arena because they're too vulnerable to removal. Huge minions that cost 8 or more always need to have an immediate impact or give you something or they won't be playable. This has no such impact as it's basically just taunt and stats. Worse, it requires a very specific setup in order to be worth anything. You need to play at least two elementals the previous turn, because a 5/10 taunt for 9 isn't going to cut it (Ancient of War costs 7). Is the game in such a state that you had two elementals in your hand in addition to this that you could play on turn 8 (or whatever the previous turn was?) Your opponent's board is set up to allow that? You didn't need to use spells to heal or clear instead?
Also because the buff is where it gets most of its power, silence devastates it. Getting it on some kind of revival only produces a 5/5.
It's extremely situational, and not even good if you get that situation. Bad card.
He is pretty good but he requires a lot of deck building restriction unless you play shaman, and in every case it will probably be hexed/polymorphed/swd/executed etc
Everything that can be said about it has been said. This card is situational and contesting against other powerful 9 drops with high impact like Alexstrasza which doesn't even need setup. Sure if you can survive till turn 9 against an aggro deck this will help, but usually aggro decks either win or lose by turns 4-7 so at that point is better to play heals and cheap taunts along with it in case of burn from hand. This is alot like for example Kvaldir Raider, sure it can win you games sometimes in specific situations where the enemy has no removal, but its better to play more multiple safe and reliable cards than bank your hopes and spend so much mana on a power play which if removed is a gargantuan swing for the enemy.

i agree mostly with you but this not an anti aggro card, this a anti midrange card
the thing is midrange runs hard removal so they can get over it, which make it pointless
if it would also have soggoth effect to it would be to busted so it can be helped i guess

Its a good card :p
hunter cards lul
last turn means the turn before you played him not this turn, you can easly get 5-15 5-20 if you have some low mana elemental on your hand

Dust
I think this will be playable in Wild, but many of the old cards they're turning into Elemental's won't be Standard as of April.
In the End....its just a 9 Mana Vanilla Taunt,... like C'thun....without battlecry
-No Deathrattle (Tirion/Chillmaw)
-No ability (Soggoth)
-No impact to the Board for 9 Mana
-Has a condition to be good
I never would play this
