To me this doesn't seem all that much powerful. Sure there might be an evolve value, but I don't know... I'm not impresed.
Thought that 7 mana 4/4 joke? That's a good one.
If it was 8/10 for 7 mana, right on. But while Health kind of does add up (not really), attack does not. So even with Battlecry triggered, it's less than 4/10. With taunt, for what it's worth.
The problem is, it's not brokenly OP like Jade Chieftan. And in order to get rid of Jade Shaman, we need borderline OP cards.
It curves out nicely from Fire Elemental, but I think this may be too weak on turn 7. AoE isn't the only thing it's vulnerable to. Those stats are pretty weak against most things your opponent likely has on the board by turn 7 (though fire elemental can help with that I suppose, and 3 targets in 1 card isn't bad by any means). The evolve value is great though, so I could see this in an evolve deck, or in an elemental deck if there is more good support. I rated it playable.
It's a 2 mana 4/4 with a 5 mana spell attached to it. So what's with all the hate for it already? yeah, flamestrike is a hard counter...which 1 out of 9 classes can play. If elementals are going to be decent, this is going in a lot of decks.
Like the Elemental theme so far, gets effects if you played a elemental last turn. This is a shaman card that isn't too powerful but not weak either, hope most of the shaman cards this year keep that theme.
*sigh of relief* This card was so close to being an OP combo piece.... Thank you Blizzard for making the Elementals synergize through playing rather than summoning. Otherwise this on turn 8 into Ozruk on turn 9 would be seen way too much.

Wants to play Captain Cookie Druid because why not?
My biggest curiosity is what the cost of the tokens is going to be... if they're 7 mana 2/3s it could make Evolve a possible (at least funsies) option. Unfortunately the Elemental mechanic is based on playing minions and not summoning, otherwise there could be a solid reason to run it just for 3x activations to something like Ozruk.
I'm not writing it off yet, I don't think the conditional is too hard to pull off, and this is likely to be a consistent card you can trigger. Currently Midrange can support 2x Jade Chieftains so it's not unheard of to be able to support that kind of top-end, and I think the board flood potential is pretty relevant. There's also plenty of Elemental synergy left to see I imagine.

I'm almost wondering if there's not a "Elementals gain +X/+Y" card coming down the pipeline for Shaman. Maybe that's what Therazine does?
Shaman is really big with Mass Buffing (Second to Druid), and these are some pretty weak bodies without some sort of buffing effect being planned.
Wait.. It's a conditionnal minion... that costs 7 mana... and is worth 7 mana when the condition is met ?
Elementals are just worse dragons or what ?
The effect alone is worth 5 mana so unless 2 mana 4/4's are particularly common in your version, no? It's more worth around 8.5 mana if we assume a 4/4 is slightly understatted for 4 mana.
Wut ?
4/4 -> worth 3 mana
2/3 taunt -> worth 2 mana
3+2+2=7
That card definitely isn't worth 8+ mana dude. It costs 7, and is either worth 3 or 7 if the condition is met. It's garbage i'm sorry. And half mana crystals don't exist, it's a really bad way to evaluate cards, 8.5 mana means literally nothing in hearthstone.
2 mana 2/3 with taunt is worth 2 mana, playing 2 of them simultaneously is worth 5 mana ... we literally have a card that does that already and it costs 5 mana. So it's a 2 mana 4/4 effectively. Given that it's more like 3.5 mana for a 4/4 (we don't have a 3 mana straight 4/4 in the game) and 5 mana for the 2 2/3's...we get 8.5
I didn't say it's a good card, I don't think it's good at all - I'm just saying it's statted pretty well for it's mana cost. The problem is more the low impact those stats have in the late-game.
token 2 mana is obviously the way to go since the elemental has a feral spirit as effect and we already have the 2/3 taunt spirit wolf as a body in the game - so why should they make it different yeah
this is a card which strongly depends on the rest of the set
if therazane is going to come and probably into shaman - then there could be elemental buffs included which would be great synergy - since i assume she comes for 7-8mana like the 3 other elememtal lords - so there could be curve efficency
So if you play an elemental last turn than you are getting 8/10 worth of stats for 7 mana and the two tokens have taunt. This actually seems really strong and it is not a dumb way to evaluate it because that is what the card gives you on the board. I think this is a card that is going to be worth testing. At this point all new cards are garbage according to this community so I can't wait to test it out to see how good it really is.

This is what I feel is probably the case, and I'd be surprised if we didn't see something like that for at least their quest (play a bunch of Elementals, get something that makes your Elementals beef supreme for the rest of the game). Like the card itself seems okay in a vacuum so maybe it's just wishful thinking, but Shaman having the strongest Elementals just makes sense to me.
And I didn't realize we already had the tokens, that's good to know at least when thinking about how to use the card. Still could be an Evolve target but that's a lot less appealing now to be certain. In general I still actually think there's a lot of merit to having the 3 bodies instead of just one big one, especially with 2x Taunt.

it's not even that crazy if you get the battlecry on curve (roughly 1.5 mana better than its cost, which is standard for a 7 drop in constructed). This is the Grimestreet Protector of the set, with the difference being that it won't even be that good in arena.

Interesting. It is a little vulnerable to AOE, but overall, pretty strong. Curves well with fire elemental too which is quite nice.

Just another way for Shaman to make an instant board. Only so many AoE you can put in a deck
This card could be a really good one and playable in a controll/midrange shaman, but only if elementals will be stronger than jades.
Seems like the time has come to nerf jade cards. A nerf would make especially this elemental look much stronger.
