Priest players biggest problem is making a deck with high consistency, since many of their cards are part of a two-card combo. Shadow Visions helps with this consistency. Have you ever missed one of the following combo-pieces?
I'd go so far as to say this is a mandatory 2-of in most Priest decks moving forward. If you are only running 3-4 spells in your deck, this card basically reads - pay 2 mana to obtain whichever spell you need right now. Flexibility and consistency are key. Hell, at very worst, this is 3 mana Power Word: Shield. There are very few tutors in this game, and for good reason.
The only thing that *may* make this card less played is it's mana cost. At 1 mana, this is straight up broken. I think it's still great at 2, but not as OP.
Works with Pyro/Cleric. Works with Soulpriestess. Works with Priest of the Feast. Works with Quest. Works with combo. Works with Yogg (lol) Works with Golems. Disgusting card.
It has probably been mentioned before, but how cool wouldn't it be to double up you quest? :D With N'Zoth and a bunch of DR minions in your deck it should be quite possible to complete the quest twice....risky to be throwing the quest back in your mulligan ofc, but it's a thing for the Johnny players to do I suppose^^

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
"Fuck, I hope I topdeck a SW:Death," is something I won't have to say anymore. Decent card, certainly playable, but not so good that it's an autoinclude in everything.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I agree this is pretty much an auto-include. Priest's biggest problem is that its removal is all situational. I've lost so many games because I didn't draw the SW:death when my opponent had an early big minion, or didn't draw SW: pain when my opponent had something like Brann that he could use to snowball to a quick victory. This card almost guarantees that you can get the removal you need by turn 4 or 5 (and still keep the original copy for later)
Good for Reno-style decks I think. Otherwise it's just an alternative option for more tempo Priest decks. It's probably just good in a pinch for those moments when you need that one card.
Why should i play a 2 mana Discover a Spell from my deck Card when i also could put another spell in my deck Instead of this One ?
Because a certain spell is so central to your deck's philosophy that you'd happily include 2 extra copies even if they cost an additional two mana. e.g. You would happily pay 3 mana to play Inner Fire on your 2/12 Dirty Rat to give it +10 Attack.
I mean, you play with 29 Cards just to Discovery a Card ....wich Is alrdy in you deck ...for 2 mana ? That means you have to sacrifice a slot in your deck for playing shadow Vision
"Sacrifice a slot"? I call it redundancy. If I could play a 15 card deck against your 30 card deck I'd win every time!
Double mindblast ? 4 Mana and 2 Cards for 5 Facedamage ...i See the value
It isn't 2 cards in any useful sense. It only cost me one card draw, not two. It is easy to construct a deck where one of your three Discover options will be "Deal 5 face damage for 4 mana". If your that doesn't mean lethal then choose one of the other two options. If it does give lethal then YAY!
yes, its funny with Elise but...is it rly worth to Play ? What about Aggro, you pay 2 mana to Discover holy Nova ? So you spent 7 Mana and 2 Cards for holy nova for example?
Sometimes, a 7 mana Holy Nova is AWESOME. If this isn't one of those times, pick one of the other two options.
This is a version of Merchant's Scroll which was one of the more powerful cards in Magic the Gathering for decades. Can't go wrong with that especially since most Priest decks don't run more than 3/4 spells.

Lemme repeat: Sometimes, in some situations, some things could be very good. Nothing else Is what your saying dude.
Pick another "Option" ? The "option" Is only a Option cause you have Shadow Vision in your Hand instead of a usefull spell, Do you know what i mean, it makes no sense.
Put a Card in your Deck to Draw copy of a Card in your Deck.
Maybe you can Shadow Vision into Shadow Vision into Power Word Shield Into Shadow Word Death to kill an Minion, sometimes 8 mana SWD Is AWESOME right ?
Can be used to "dig" for removal that you don't have in hand or for good combo's really useful card at least 1 of in most priest decks that run removal like dragonfire potion and or nova.
I can't believe the community is undervaluing so much this card. This is easily the best cantrip of the game, since is an unconditional draw of a chosen card. Only "downside" is the <<only spells>> restriction.
Probably this is the first effect of the rotation of Emperor: more space for cantrips and draw mechanics.
WIth this card you are really running 3 copies of whatever removal you plan on putting in your deck great for outlasting your opponents when it comes to board control. Really pushes the control deathrattle priest.
Wonder what would happen if there was only one other spell? Would it give you just that card as an option

Just cast Shadow Visions, and pick the missing one!
They probably waited for Entomb to rotate out before making this card. Facing 4 entombs would be really annoying.
Garbage. There are no spells good enough to pay 2 mana extra for a tutor, not in Priest, not to mention it's undoubtedly random.

Also, infinite value memes.

I see this as mandatory in Highlander Priest.
(Greater Healing Potion and hero power can replace Reno's departure)
Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!

At first glance, I was like, "Huh."
Then I was like, "Oh!"
Then I was like, "Oh, WOW!"
If you are among those saying this card is bad, you forfeit your right to call for nerfs later on. That's all I'm gonna say.

Potentially saves you a card slot, since you discover a copy. You could just run 1x of your removals instead of the normal 2x.
