Shaku, the Collector (except for top tier voice lines) is pure trash and nothing's gonna change that; I don't think Xaril, Poisoned Mind has seen much play either.
have you not ever played against water rogue? the tier one deck? almost every list plays shaku; have you been living under a rock?
that being said, i don't think this will see a lot of play without more deathrattle synergy in rogue.
Stop whining and look in the direction of the jade druid if you wanna see a mechanic that did work and think about how lucky we are that this is a mechanic. I think the flavour's pretty cool!
I think this is the first minion/token without stats in constructed (the seed). I'm guessing it won't be possible to target it with shadowcaster, gang up etc.
if you build a deck around it and it gets hexed, you auto-lose. if you don't build a deck around it then it's unlikely to get consistent enough value/tempo to justify a card slot. awful. If it had stealth or the faire dragon effect would be a totally different story.
i asume the raptor will turn into the seed on death and will be revived as the plant. Or some fucked up shit happens....it'S blizzard so you never know

Not that it can't have moments where it's incredible, but rogue will need more cards that give coins (i.e. things like Tomb Pillager) or some more cheap spells to combo with Gadgetzan Auctioneer to help make this broken.

The only combo that this is going to work for is Late turn board fill with Rapture, but bc its stats are bad, any basic board clear, 6/6+ size minions (Jade, Jade everywhere) and being late game with Conceal gone this card is completely pointless. There is no Tempo or Value for it.
Rogue has 2 many problems: and Both are related to each other
1) Mitigation of damage. You see this in the deck styles that are popular: Deathrattle (B.c no mitigation we need to have an effect when something dies and the ability to bring these back) and OTK decks like Miracle and Malygos, where they stale the game and board clear as much as they can until Lethal damage is ready.
2) Hero Synergy, Rogue Hero Power, Its extremely hard to work with unlike all other heroes. If rogue has a weapon the Hero power is pointless, if we want to boost it we need to pre cast and this many times will take an addition turn. With mitigation problems the Hero power is also hard to use, you are taking damage many of the time where other heroes with weapons has Mitigations. Examples: Warrior and Druid has armor, Paly has healing and Hunter has more rawr damage/minions that can clear instead of using weapons.
What are you actually implying lol ? they're both god awful cards that never saw any play outside of some crappy "water" decks that people now realise weren't anything special to begin with, see the return to questing miracle, even in the latest tournament decks.
Xaril saw quite a lot of play in WotOG miracle rogue. And gadgetzan miracle rogue often runs shaku for reasons I still have to udnerstand.
This one, although more original, is worse than these two.

At the time this thing is released we'll say goodbye to Tomb Pillager and Conceal which will be a pretty big blow for Miracle and no one would ever play 4 cards, even with Auctioneer on board,to revive an awfully statted minion that can't even attack when it comes back...

One thing you have to realize is that with Seymore's pet here is that it's PERMANENTLY in play when it dies. Your opponent needs to constantly be watching it in order for it to not be double ColdBlood ed and swing in for 13 damage. And if you get more than one (Barnes, N'zoth), it's not entirely unheard of for you to have an army of these things just running into the opponent turn after turn.
You need to play 4 cards in one turn to revive this thing... Without Conceal your Gadgetzan Auctioneer (that is going to be nowhere near as good as now cause of rotation/hall of fame) is bound to die the turn after he's played and without him you can't really afford to play 4 cards every turn without dumping your entire hand... The scenario you're suggesting is one you'd see just in a slow game and let's be honest we all know that's not gonna happen... Even if the meta,hypothetically,slowed down to the point you can afford to play this card,Rogue isn't a class that can really afford to play a control Deck... You don't have healing or good AOE so I just fail to see how a Deck centered around a card like this would be able to deal with Jade Druid or even Jade Shaman...
At what point does blizzard just rework rogue and call it Meme city? Should I even be surprised by the garbage blizz continues to give rogues? WHY! For fucks sakes why! Why do they continue to give us this unplayable garbage? It just doesn't fucking make sense! You will see this played almost never. It's straight up unplayable and the requirements to revive it is stupid as fuck not to mention a crippling effect as it takes up a spot on the board so N'zoth can't have a full board. Why can't rogues just get vanilla cards. I'd rather have perfect stated vanilla minions than these fucking gimmicky meme shit. And then people have the nerve to ask why the average rogue deck has 50/50 or even 30/70 class to neutral cards. They give warlocks a portal that continuously spawn 6/4 worth of stats per turn and rogues get this... this sort of treatment with class distribution is disgusting and unfair for anybody that wants to venture out of the norm. YOU BITCH ABOUT DECKS FLOODING THE LADDER BUT THEN YOU GIVE CLASSES JUST THE WORST IMAGINABLE SHIT THAT MAKE THE CLASS IRRELEVANT AND UNPLAYABLE. People underestimate this card. Seems like an auto-substitute for tomb pillager in the 4-mana slot. Play it on turn 4, use it kill something, then get a free 5/3 every time you have an auctioneer or Edwin/QA turn.
Hearthstone sucks. Blizzard has no idea how to balance cards. They are barely just figuring out how to nerf cards. On top of that, they nerf cards that "limit design space" then give us zero cards with that extra design space. They continue to print horrid legendary cards. Yeah, they are certainly legendary... I know legendary cards are supposed to give us strong or unique effects, but why does Hemet Nesingwary exist? He could be a common and he wouldn't see play. Destroying a beast is not unique and he is not particularly powerful. In a virtual card game when you print a super rare card that is horrendous, what purpose is it there to serve? Is it there to be funny? Is it to piss us off when we spend money on a game see we got a legendary and find out it is useless? Seriously, go play a game like Elder Scrolls Legends. Look at the Unique cards. They all provide a powerful or synergistic effect, or both. You would be excited to play any of them. Hearthstone on the other hand says hey, let's print a bunch of dumb legendaries to rip off our loyal paying customers.
Really strong if you can consistently play 4 cards in a turn, and I think you can, but you can't shape your entire game plan around a single 4-drop in your deck. This fits neatly into the Miracle/Deathrattle Rogue though.
1st of all: Aggro meta is not a valid reason for this card to be unplayable. You have no idea what the meta will look like after the rotation.
2nd: This is an obvious staple in Miracle Rogue. You just need to resurrect it once on your miracle turn and you've got enough value to justify paying 4 mana.
3rd: People are seriously underestimating the number of cycle-ish cards that are cheap, playable, and available to Rogue.

Yes = good card .
No = bad card .
