Blizz seem finally to push the control-midrange and anti aggro theme alot stronger this expansion, so we can expect the meta to slow down atleast a tiny bit and with this information i would say Hunter become alot more strong only by the fact that the meta may slow down to the very point where Hunter shines. Hunters early hasnt been the best since stuff like OP alchemists rotated out, but he got super sticky and actually high value Midrange-Minions in terms of several Rounds.
So if the Meta slows down to probably 50% midrange that counter aggro quite well, Hunter will become a rising star with the pure Value of Midrange cards he have and a 7 mana 9/9 with most matches, most likely, a strong upside will obvious see play, cause there are no real competitions for 7 mana, and playing this dude instead of any 6 drop or 5+heropower is just an insane difference, playing highmane on 6, on 7 this dude, he most likely can hard remove one of them but the other one sticks with insane powerful stats and seals the Game for the Hunter, probably the highest value Midgame into the sick value of 6+ to finish out the Game before his biggest weakness, card-draw, begins.
Of course its just an prediction with the tiny bit of Information we received so far, but if it plays out like that, This card will become auto include in the new Archetype of Hunter = Playing a extremely powerful curve from 1~8? while your enemies draw cards, Hunters just throw this on curve Kings of rough power into play each turn.(I´m actually a comp player that plays most of his time @top100 Legend just to give that prediction some kind of Value.)

I kill two dwarves in da morning, I kill two dwarves at night, I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and than i feel alright. I kill two dwarves in the time of peace and two in time of war, I kill two dwarves before i kill two dwarves, and then i kill two more.
Can it attack normally? If it can, than its insanely op card that should have never been created
It can attack normally and even if it can it's not even close to insanely OP... I swear some people have no real idea of game balance at all. This is an "okay" card, very good in Arena, probably won't see play in good level Constructed. Not even CLOSE to OP.

If this was not sarcasm, which I`m pretty sure it wasn`t, you have absolutely no idea what is an op card.
Oh of course I dont know what im talking about, only I am a numerous time legend player, who has been playing this game for quite some time and have been really precise with my card predictions. I'll get back to you smartasses when ungoro hits.
It`s ok man. Not every legend player can understand the meta. But to affirm that this will be broken is pretty absurd. If you play for such a long time you should know that big drops need to have a very important effect to be played, and this is ok, good actually, but nowhere near op.
edit: just searched you in the legend hct points database and you are nowhere to be found. Interesting.
I bet legend players understand the meta better than non legend players... Oh I have no hct points? That must be the end of times. Maybe cause I am a casual player who works 6 days a week and plays max 1 hour a day? Ohh and 80% of my all heartstone games were on handlock, that's the deck I have been reaching legend with, I don't need to play shaman to be "good" like you.
One of the most broken card, Blizzard ever created!
you play 7 mana for a 9/9 minionm, if your openend has no Hex/Sheep/Assasinate or Poison creature (that no one playing) they need MINIMUm 2 cards/minions to clear it. Its a card like: "if my openend cant kill me in 7 turns, i win the game" u play this card, and your oponend mostly will play 3 or more cards or cant even clear it in 1 turn.
7 mana 9/9 no effect would be enaugh to be great, but with that effect, its like a 7 mana ragnaros that shots multiply times.

Finally someone who understands. Not to mention if you don't remove it, you are pretty likely to receive 9 damage to the face, against hunter...
Like the idea, but bad card, Etereal Conjurer and Justicar are going wild but I certainly would play they to trade in this guy.
This guy gets it. I half joking said somewhere that Magma Rager is a good counter, but it was only half. The opponent basically gets to make the trades so in a way this card has an inverse taunt.

Man your posts are pretty nuts.
First you defend your opinions by saying you're a multiple legend player. Why don't you just defend your opinions by...idk...arguing the merits? Being legend does not matter. It does not mean you are an amazing player that can predict the meta. Just talk about the cards. If your opinion is correct why do you need to try to bring in some kind of status to back you up? There are professional players who have been wrong about cards in the past.
Then when you get called on for not being high ranked legend you say you don't play enough and go after someone else for...playing shaman? You contradicted yourself, saying that legend matters but high ranked legend is for bad shaman players?
Just calm down man, and remember we're all trying to evaluate the cards. We don't need to try to swing our dicks around, we should listen to everyone's opinions so we can make an informed judgement on the card.
I'm not sure about the playability of this card, but it fills a slot that Hunters have had available since forever. This could be their first playable 7 mana minion, other than Dr. Boom.

Legend rank does matter in a way. It pretty much proves a player knows the game well, knows it's mechanics, knows how the meta works, pretty knowledgeable in deckbuilding etc, Legend matters, that is if he didn't reach it with shaman or pirate warrior or secret paladin. Where did I say top legend rank is for bad shaman players? You are accusing me of something I never said and you say I am contradicting myself? Listen to everyones opinions? You mean sneakilly insult like those two, just because I expressed my opinion that doesn't match with theirs?
1) does the effect fire if King Dred is frozen? If not, does the first missed attack remove the freeze?
2) interaction with Jaraxxus. Dred's card text reads "After your opponent plays a minion, attack it." That means battlecry effects will fire before Dred's card text. Which means Jaraxxus will no longer be a minion, but the opposing hero. My feeling is because Jaraxxus is not a minion when Dred's effect fires, no attack will occur. But it merits clarification.
Admittedly, that progression is too slow for the current aggro-fest meta, but if the meta slows just enough, that's a constant stream of "answer me" minions for your opponent to deal with.
Would you play 9 damage for 7 mana? No! This card is worse, will not see play. Propably hunter wont either.

My magic will tear you apart!
After your opponent plays a minion, go to his face SMOrc
This one seems better...
Seems pretty intimidating to me. This on the heels of Highmane should end a lot of matches.

Lmao, what if the enemy plays Lord Jaraxxus? Does it go face?
I eat Kingsbane rogues for breakfast.
FINALLY A COUNTER TO MURLOC TINYFIN!

I like the concept behind this card. Hopefully this a mechanic hunter will receive in ungoro.
This minion is destined to have many glorious moments -- both good and bad.
Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Basically King Krush + Icehowl . Why hunter never have a nice legendary?
2 biggest mechanic questions to this point:
1) does the effect fire if King Dred is frozen? If not, does the first missed attack remove the freeze?

Hunter curvestone looks promising so far:
Turn 1: Alleycat/Fiery Bat
Turn 2: Kindly Grandmother/Trogg Beastrager
Turn 3: Rat Pack/Animal Companion/Shaky Zipgunner
Turn 4: Infested Wolf/Houndmaster
Turn 5: Tundra Rhino/{yet unknown Un'goro card} <--- biggest opportunity
Turn 6: Savannah Highmane
Turn 7: Swamp King Dred
Turn 8: Giant Sand Worm (could it finally be time?)
Turn 9: Call of the Wild
Turn 10: N'Zoth, the Corruptor
Admittedly, that progression is too slow for the current aggro-fest meta, but if the meta slows just enough, that's a constant stream of "answer me" minions for your opponent to deal with.
