People here underestimate the Deathrattle too much. Like said above: Deathrattle: Do nothing is already good. And it is actually a pretty relevant deathrattle. It makes every minion on board you have 1 mana tougher. And with this having a taunt and you have something on the board, it will be tough not making the deathrattle work.
The only real problem i see is that priest does not have any buff-card in standard at all, at least for now. No idea what cards we also get in the next xpack. So for now it's MEH in standard, but actually quite playable if not very good in Wild. With Velen's Chosen it's a 4/10 taunt, and it has a pretty insane Taunt-Curve: Deathlord into Tortollan Shellraiser into Sludge Belcher. And even with only 2 attack: This card is so so so much better than Sen'jin Shieldmasta because of the extra health.
I see some people not liking this card, why? 1. It is a fantasic Deathrattle that can come back from N'Zoth (in Wild, when you bring back 2 of Tortollan Shellraiserand Sludge Belchers is going to be strong). 2. A cheap taunt. We got 3 strong early game taunts revealed so far, blizzard realized their mistakes with having the entire 2016 meta being aggro dominated, they are trying to fix this by giving us more strong cheap taunts.
4 mana 3/6 taunt dragon goes away, 4 mana 2/6 taunt turtle with deathrattle comes in, why are you all bitching again?
loss of dragon synergy, worse stats in a class minion opposed to a neutral minion, forces an archetype we don't know is good yet, needs a board to be somewhat viable, occupies a slot that is already crowded.
take your pick
4? crowded with? priest of the fest and shadowpriest? you can opt to not run shadowpriest and run *2 this and *2 priest of the feast in a N'zoth deck.. there are 7 other priest cards one MIGHT be a good 2 drop for a change (or maybe a neutral that's worth running in priest) and then you can go midrange DR with priest..
this card is actually good it's only 1 less attack than a card that is really over the top, and yet has the deathrattle to give that attack +1 HP to a friendly minion without holding a dragon or anything..
This card is actually good why bash it.. you can make new decks, not just add it to existing ones you know..
high HP is great in priest since there's sinergy with heal cards and HP, plain 3/6 taunt would be insanely good (it's currently on a conditional card..)

Not every minion, just one. If the deathrattle upgraded your whole board, that would be something. Definitely not overtaking Priest of The Feast so the question is if you run this or Shifting Shade in n'zoth priest. I'd probably go with the latter, as this card might be decent at sopping-up cheap aggro units, but it is trash against midrange. 2 attack is just a really lousy stat.
As somebody who knows exactly how good Bloodhoof Brave is in Warrior, this might be the strongest card released thus far. If we get a decent 2-3 mana deathrattle card in Priest and some way to deal with Jade, N'Zoth Control Priest WILL be a thing. The below list seems like a good starting shell for the deck, and I'd wager we'll see a few more turtle-people with deathrattle.
Not gonna happen. Assuming N'zoth Priest will be played, it either will be crushed by aggro or crushed by lategame jade play.
Im actually playing zoth priest and Druid as a huge Problem to deal with a large board especially with taunts. Anyway, zoth decks are minion based Decks like Dragon Priest for example and DP works great vs Druid and Shaman, you can make so much pressure
Yeah I don't understand why this card is disliked. It's an unconditional 2/6 Taunt with synergy, whereas it's current counterpart - the 2/6 Dragon that gets +1 attack and Taunt conditionally - sees a lot of play. Does the 1 less attack really make this card far worse?

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
While I understand that some people see this card as an replacement for Infested Tauren, which only really saw play because he was a deathrattle with taunt that was desperately needed in N'Zoth deck, people are also failing to realize that it was also played as a way of protection against board clear after N'Zoth, and this turtle doesn't provide that.
But, it is a good, proactive card, with good synergy with both N'Zoth and Priest quest.

In the entire hearthstone history, 4 mana 2/6 minions never saw any constructed play except bloodhoof brave.
I don't know, this is a good card, but nothing special really. Probably will see play if priest gets a good 2 drop that can abuse Kabal Talonpriest, then the talonpriest can abuse Tortollan Shellraiser. Otherwise I don't think it will see play.
I don't know that we've had enough 4 mana 2/6 minions to really draw a bead on if that's the issue though, and for the longest time Priest's options have been 4 mana 3/6's that were pretty good or a 4 mana 3/6 Taunt that was god tier.
I'd agree Bloodhoof Brave is better, hands down... but I don't think this card is terrible either, and quite likely to see a ton of play regardless of what 2-drops get printed. Whether it sticks around or not really just relies on if the 3 attack matters, whether the meta is aggressive enough that early Taunt minions are in high demand, or whether the Deathrattle is nuts in a world where we have Talonpriest. Until we get a view of the rest of the set it's pretty hard to even guess if any of those things are going to be problematic.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
In an heavy Aggro meta its a good card: 6 health Taunt at turn 4 can really slow them down. In addition it has Deathrattle, so it counts for quest synergy. Not OP or anything but at last playble in a dedicated Deathrattle deck (that seems to be the direction in which they want to push Priest control deck for what we've seen so far in Un'goro), but probably not so good in any other scenario.
It also kind replace Twilight Guardian now that it's going to go out from Standard.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
I do think it is a strong card, but the fact that it has 2 attack makes it slighty underperforming compare to sludge belcher, and that's maybe the closet comparative we had previously. 2 attack means its in the scope for Cabal Shadow Priest, Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Madness and Potion of Madness -- to only name a few. But just like you, I think it will see play. Can't wait to try out Awaken the Makers Have an upvote!
"deathrattle: do nothing" would have been good enough in a nzoth deck
note that it's harder for your opponent to clear the board before they clear this because of taunt

I was going to vote "bad", but then I saw its a priest card, so I changed my vote to "playable" .
Card is ok for priest

1 Awaken the Makers
2 Power Word: Shield
2 Shadow Word: Pain
2 Shadow Word: Death
2 Kabal Talonpriest
2 Tortollan Shellraiser
2 Holy Nova
2 Kabal Songstealer
1 Cairne Bloodhoof
1 N'Zoth, the Corruptor
This card has very good synergy with Onyx Bishop, as it gives a target for the Deathrattle. Overall a pretty good card, I think it will see play.
What a hideous art. Ok card tho, nothing special.
Pretty Below average stat line imo Better 4 slots to take its place

this card is good but maybe the most boring class cards i seen
