How long this stupid interaction will remain in the game?
If Jaraxxus is on the board as a minion, sure, he's a demon but once he replaces your hero he should be considered as a hero too and shouldn't die to a 0 mana card as he's not affected by almost any other card that targets Demons.
Blizzard said many times that they don't like OTK combos but they left this stupid interaction in the game. It's like saying you don't like guns but you keep a rocket launcher in your closet for "fun".
I've always found that interaction completely stupid and poorly designed. Imagine a card that says "Destroy a Paladin if he has 15 or less HP" for instance, how fun would that be?
Edited my post to reflect more my original opinion and prevent people to just call me a whiner.
I remember when my friend got a Lord Jaraxxus and send me a screenshot in FB. He said that he wants a duel with me so i wrote in google " how to counter jaraxxus?" and i found that card. I made a deck full of taunts and 2 xSacrificial Pact he got completly rekt.
This game supposed to be RNG clown fiesta and such interactions are required or that.
So don't be salty, it's the nature of children's card game. It focused on RNG overthrows rather then playing skill.
Two years ago I was really mad about this interaction too (it's incredibly stupid thing!). I thought this game should be skill-rewarding and designed for that.
But future development convinced me that I was wrong. Real HS design philosophy is Ben Brode laughing about Yogg-Saron's effects played... so cool! so amazing! so much fun! It was my Hopes' End for Hearthstone. With such design team this game goes to nowhere.
And I don't care about it anymore and playing Gwent. Only 'skill' required in modern HS is ability to roll Spell Totem when needed.
This is the only card that counters Jaraxxus, so in order to use it, you must remove any other good card in a renolock deck for the replacement. I think you are overexagerating, i use it too to counter combo and renolocks on ladder, not to mention if i have a demon on board i can heal in this clown fiesta meta which is super useful. It is very rare to witness an end game like this. So chill, the card is perfectly fine imo.
It should not destroy Lord J.
Name one other card interaction that is even remotely similiar. You may (if you want) use Majordomo into Ragnaros as an example.
It makes no sense from any point of view.
It makes perfect sense. Jaraxxus is a demon. It's logical that there isn't any other comparibel card interaction, because there's only two cards in the game that replace your hero and only this one has a creature type. Therefor it's a completely unique situation, because it's the single instance in which your hero can have a creature type and thus be effected by cards that target only a specific creature. Ragnaros doesn't have a creature type, so it's logical that there isn't a card that does something similar to him.
It's also not a combo. It's literally 1 card you play, your opponent has to play Jaraxxus himself.
Jaraxxus is one of the best legendaries and it's fine for there to be a single hard counter to it, especially because it's a rarely played card that is very unlikely to in your opponents hand when you play Jaraxxus.
I have to agree, it's the hardest counter-interaction in the game, and instead of being gameplay related, it's just a fringe card that is either useless or a 0 mana, instant win condition; the worst kind of RNG.
How long this stupid interaction will remain in the game?
I've just lost a 20min game where I was favorite by far because my opponent got a sacrificial pact from a kabal courier. If Jaraxxus is on the board as a minion, sure, he's a demon but once he replaces your hero he should be considered as a hero too and shouldn't die to a 0 mana card.

Yes I'm salty that I lost to a noob that got lucky but either way I've always found that interaction completely stupid and poorly designed. Imagine a card that says "Destroy a Paladin if he has 15 or less HP" for instance, how fun would that be?
you got simply outplayed, don't call others noobs when you obviously lack basic skills ... <Kappa>

Awe so sad. . . Lol it's probably one of my favorite interactions in the game. Please post in the salt thread cuz that's all this is .
You shall cut down the largest tree in the forest with......... A HERRING!!
Bahahahaha. That is all.
It's not an OTK, you have to play jaraxxus and your enemy has to have sacrificial pact in his hand... very unlikely.
Also, when you play jaraxxus you know the risks

Why is this a thread.
If you don't play hearthstone anymore what are you doing in the forums? O.o

I believe its fine. Jaraxus has the best hero power in the game. High risk for high reward

I think they should move jaraxxus to wild.

He got lucky, you could have not played jarax knowing the kabal can generate the pact.
Onto the next game.
