If you've got 2 x 6 health minions on board that your opponent can't deal with then you have probably already won though right? If the meta shifts a lot it might work, 2 card draw plus a body in one card will always have potential.
Terrible card, or in others words, more win card, if you have a 6 power minion opponent don't have resources to kill then you already in pretty good situation and this card does nothing when you are behind in game.
I'm trying him out in midrange pally. Probably wont make the cut since there are better things to spend the mana on on turn 6, but if you buff him twice while in your hand, you don't need a board to trigger him.
Him and Dopplegangster might be enough reason to go all in on the handbuff theme. Though probably too gimmicky in the end.
If only this could activate off itself it would be viable in goon buff decks. Too bad battle cry happens before the minion hits the board. I think it will see some play as a one of though. Like others have said ramp/maly Druid with arcane giants or if one of their other big minions survives a turn..
I can't believe the ratings for this card. It's slightly better than azure drake when the condition is met, but beyond terrible when it's not. Since it's an expensive minion it is difficult to combo this with a 6 health minion the same turn even at 10 mana. This is definitely a bad card IMO
Conditional cards like this are very hard to justify to put into your deck. Azure Drake is unconditional and still better, especially if you are behind on board.
So I guess it's hard to justify to put Reno Jackson into a deck ?
Conditional card doesn't mean bad card.
And azure drake is different, not better. Some classes have the 5 slot crowded already and don't care about spell damage.
And if you are behind on the board, I can't see how draw 1 is better than draw 2.
?
Reno Jackson is a complete different mechanic that you can control before the game even starts. This card requires you to have board initiative, or do you think a 6 healthd minion just sticks arround if you are behind? If you need card draw badly, its better to have no condition like this behind it.
Do you play hearthstone ? If you have a 6 health minion and you are behind, you are guaranteed that the opponent will go face and let it live.
It also has synergy with cards like doomsayer and stuff like this.
Or maybe, just MAAYYYBE, you are NOT behind, because you dumped your hand, you don't have card advantage anymore and you need exactly this card to win the game ?
A card that can draw you multiple cards on its own has very little chance to see no play.
Acolyte of Pain is also a slow, poorly stated, conditional card draw ;)
Nice bait, but nah.
I think the effect is good enough to try and experiment with maybe. Arcane giant plus this for example is pretty darn good. Also I can see Jade Golem set ups working as well as buffed weenies that can be played simultaneously from Grimmy Goons. That being said, it's combo draw. Which seems a bit backwards. I have serious doubts about the card but am willing to mess with it. Honestly if it works well enough with Giants I may replace Nourish with these guys.
Probably yes, its the only class that can drop big minions early and would appreciate other card draw engines if it could (nourish is good but a major tempo killer).
But I wouldnt discard Priest, as they can buff a minions health to 6 and keep it there, I can see control priests playing this as a 1-of, we'll see.

6 mana pre-nerf ancient of lore
"slightly better than azure drake"
k.
"it is difficult to combo this with a 6 health minion the same turn"
No it's not. And you can do this in 2 turns.
You're wrong about like 75% of the cards you comment on. I don't value your opinion, so don't waste your time responding to me in the future, thanks.
This card is only slightly better than azure drake when the condition goes off because 1) it is 1 mana more expensive 2) has no tribe like drake does 3) has no spellpower. But don't let me pull you from your cloud of ignorance.
I think this clearly makes sense with the Jade Golem mechanic - if you can go all in on that enough to make getting 6/6 golems reasonable. Also works OK with ramp druid in general - you've got so many big bodies. Finally, pretty nice with Kun the Forgotten King. Refill after dropping him, it's better than Nourish.
No matter how good this is, it is a good addition to the game.
And this is potentially stronger than pre-nerf Ancient of Lore, so, voted very good.
Lol. Better I doubt it. Ancient of Lore was way better than this.
"potentially stronger".
Of course AoL was overall better. It's a class card sherlock.
Chill dude. This is objectively worse than pre-nerf Ancient of Lore and thus there is not potential for it to be better, so yes potentially stronger is wrong. Try not to take things that seriously. Your class card comment is totally off point.
The Grimy Goons and the Jade Lotus both have mechanics to give you reliable, cheap cards (via buffed hand minions or later Jade Golems) that come into play with a 6+ health minion. The condition on this isn't all that hard to reach for those decks.
For current decks, there's only a handful of semi-consistent options. Twilight Guardian is the easiest, with a guaranteed trigger on turn 10. The Curator, Twin Emperor Vek'lor, and ramp decks are the only other practical options. Priest and paladin probably won't run this in buff heavy decks (if that ever became a thing), since that's a lot of set up just for some expensive card draw.

This combos pretty well with Arcane Giant doesn't it? Reduce your Giant then play this and draw cards.

Trash tier card.
Interesting, might not be as hard to trigger as it seems.
Maybe the only good combination with this card is Power Overwhelming.

Solid arena card....Many 5 drops have 6 health.
Does this card work with the GrimeStreet mechanic, like if you buff this card to like a 6/6 does he trigger on HIS own stats?
I think this works best with buffed up Jade Golem. Other than that, maybe with a stealth card?
Hmm. Its probably bad. Sadly. To clunky.

good in grimy goon decks because you can get a 4 drop to 6 health pretty easily.

Druid or Rogue or Mage Arcane Giant decks: Play an Arcane Giant for little or no mana; play this card, draw 2 more.
