My bad, was only looking at the cards I had. Those cards are all pretty underwhelming and have no place in constructed aside from Blademaster in priest
This card is working well in my pirate warrior deck. Put in 2, removed Brann and a mad bomber (also replaced 1 arcanite reaper with 1 fool's bane so I'm running 1 of each). With this type of deck, you almost always have a weapon in hand, and part of winning means attacking minions with your weapon to keep your own minions alive longer. so you play an illusionist before you clear something out of your minions' way, and enjoy not losing any health. It doesn't win you the game, but it keeps you alive another turn or 3 while you look for that Leeroy or Mortal Strike to finish your opponent off.
Hardly, Jaraxxus+Darkbomb does pretty much the same.
Wrong, Dark Bomb does not look anywhere near as cool as an immune Jaraxxus does.
On a serious note though, I honestly think Violet Illusionist is the better choice. You can potentially kill a minion with 0 damage put on you or your minions. On top of that, your opponent may be more inclined to attack your Violet Illusionist over another, stronger minion. With Dark Bomb, this isn't possible.
This card is going to get nerfed. Once the meta settled in Old Gods we saw some unlikely cards sift to the top. I think that, right now, this card is good, but once everything settles and the game breaking tempo cards fall off post-nerf, hard control is going to have as strong a place as ever and this card is going to end many games.
It is nearly as good as arcane golem in stats and the effect is wayyyyy better!
I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.
'How many Blizzard employees do you need to fix a lamp? It does not matter, because they cannot balance the ladder.'
Check out my homebrewn Paladin deck.
Who uses ligth's champion?

Any weapon class that has so far used Earthen Ring Farseer might as well prefer Violet Illusionist, especially for lategame.
Illusionist can also act as soft taunt, you wouldnt want your opponent with a weapon and an illusionist for a second turn...

Does she prevent fatigue damage?
Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
yes shes does
This girl is insane in arena, especially when you're playing rogue. Vanilla stats + a ridiculous amount of pseudoheal is just way too good to pass up.
Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.
Emperor Thaurissan into Lord Jaraxxus, and then Violet Illusionist = OP

Why don't I see her more in Renolock? Guess I'm gonna give her a slot.
