You don't understand, it isn't random minion as someone already said. You can choose any friendly minion that died and resummon it. They killed your ragnaros? Well it comes back in addition to this 3/4 body. If I am understanding the text correctly, this could be the strongest card in the entire set.
That's not how it works. Just because it doesn't say random doesn't mean it works like that, I can't remember which card but there was a huge debate about this in a recent expansion. It's not like you could play this card and get a pop-up of 14 minions that died and choose one, that'd be a whole new mechanic they'd have to program in (and it's much more likely they'd make it a discover mechanic). This has nothing to do with the card text but Priest will rarely live long enough to play Ragnaros and Resurrect it with this.
Neither does it say Choose or Discover so we can only assume the effect is random. If you get to pick though.... Well thats a new kind of broken right there
I'm sure we can somehow find priest better early game minions, they are just too stubborn to see it. Pyromancer is already great, ooze is fine. Some run injured blademaster and loot hoarders, injured blademaster being good especially in a resurrect deck... Oh and then there is stuff like the 3/4 cthun card that you could just run for the stats, theres doomsayer also... Some have even tried out flame jugglers in priest. I think people just need to get creative and look for good early game especially when it comes to stats but also powerful effects.
It's really not bad. People also like to call this card slow, and while it is true that it is 5 mana it can generate huge tempo for you. As long as you build your deck around the ressurect concept (Not running northshire, curators and other trash stat cards) you can easily get something of greater value than the 2 mana you're paying for the effect. Blademaster, pyro, auchenei and priest of the feast are all examples of reasonable to good outcomes, and then there is sylvanas, ragnaros, forbidden card minions, and hey, maybe you run bog creeper or another high value big taunt in a ressurect priest, and then it might actually become really good. I see potential in this card, and a resurrect control priest might truly be better than any other priest archetype, as it is the only one able to generate tempo swings and high value consitently throughout the game. Lets take nzoth priest for example, the whole game playing from behind playing shit stat minions for an endgame swing in power that you might not even survive to make. Atleast a resurrect control priest is able to generate value, tempo and run nicely statted minions throughout the game to combat aggro which is something a nzoth priest isnt able to do with the museum curator and shifting shade for example, playing bad stats to gain late game value.
I know this is no solace for people who want competitive priest decks, but this card actually helps enable The Ancient One decks. I have a ludicrous decklist that is very likely to spawn at least one Ancient One if you can live long enough. It might actually have positive matchups against fatigue warrior!
Yeah I know it's not a great card but I thought making a deck around summoning it would be fun. Besides, with four Resurrect abilities and four to five ways to copy a card, losing one Ancient One isn't the end of the world. I've explained all the combos in the deck

Snowball decks make priest is dead in the water by T5 (not dead, but unable to recover), so it's much to late for a tempo swing. And this card doesn't even contest totem golem on it's own. It won't make much of an impact.
The kind of decks that don't put down that much early pressure is not the decks that priest struggle with, but those decks don't see much play.
Since the best decks in HS at the moment all run solid removal, ancient one decks is a pipe-dream at best.
I get what you're saying but with a resurrect-based shell (like mine), you can bring it back, resulting in opponents needing a lot of single target removal. Honestly, the biggest thing holding it back is that it's too damn slow and you need to forgo having a ton of other minions to make it work. Against a fatigue deck you won't get much pressure, giving you the time you need. Against every other deck, you're screwed.
This card is seriously powerful. The mistake you're all making is thinking you need to rig it to an exact minion, you don't. Even with a standard minion curve this is the Tuskarr Totemic of (5)s, sometimes flopping but often winning the game on the spot. In long games it's outrageous.

So based on what you are saying, we can conclude that this card is insane against druid which is a tier 1 class? Maybe even fast enough against dragon warrior? "Those decks dont see much play" LUL
To all the people saying this is a build-around, the whole weakness of the Priest class is a lack of powerful early game. Priest sucks largely because Chow and Deathlord rotated out. Now, you're going to build around a 5-drop by exacerbating this weakness? Not gonna work.
The Bishop would be semiplayable if you could choose, which minion to revive, similar to "Tracking". Otherwise this is just another overcosted random card.
This is a really solid card. Keep in mind that it can randomly resurrect the token that Barnes summons, but when it resurrects it will be at full stats instead of just a 1/1 token..
Versus anything but aggro this card provides great value / board presence. When you play this on turn 5 this can summon a shifting shade, injured blademaster, priest of the feast, Barnes, or the Barnes token which could be huge. Worst case...two 3/4's for 5 mana. Best case, whichever big fat minion that Barnes summoned. Not bad.
A ressurect deck will obviously have to rely on spells for the first two turns and not run any Northshires or Museum Curators.
Or it could resurect Barnes itself, and Barnes could summon one of your early game minions. If anything I would say Onyx Bishop andBarnes have anti-synergy together, aside for the occasional game winning RNG.
I still think it might be a decent combo, but I can confirm that the first minion I ever got out of Barnes was Onyx Bishop.....

You still have the original copy of Bishop in your deck. Barnes just make a 1/1 copy to summon.

Unfortunately, the great ancient one can be stopped by a single 1-mana taunt minion or killed by a single 1 mana clear.

Verdict: Very good

For anyone still wondering: No, you can't choose which minion to resurrect -> https://youtu.be/BrhOMZwWlKI?t=4m30s

The card is good, Priests will most likely sun it. Its just that it's extremely boring design and not what Priest needed.
At least it's usable in Wild. At least priest is usable in Wild. At least Purify is usable in Wild.
